Entergy could offer me free electricity for 10 years and I would still not take that offer "

Hmmmm.....
The method of replacing a much less expensive component (mostly due to an inability to reproduce the failure) is sometimes employed in these situations;however, you must understand that said PTO shift switch simply transfers 12v on request-clutch does not ground through switch.
You can try the switch but I believe you're just adding 25.00 to the cost of the clutch assy that you'll eventually purchase. Perhaps you could attempt to source a good used electromagnetic clutch unit if you're looking for an option. I do wish you good luck !

A side piece of info for you-treating pre-emergent for crabgrass is a good option. Treatment is usually in Feb prior to the soil temp reaching 55 degrees. It's very effective.
I would have to do a search to see what to use for treatment if you're looking to treat now as I don't know off hand. Good luck to you.
The "clutch" on that unit is electromagnetic and it certainly sounds as though the "coil" of the electro-magnet is breaking down under heat load. The coil by itself is not a replacement part. The electromagnetic clutch assembly must be replaced.
It's critical that this be tested at the very time it has failed if you are set on testing prior to replacing component. I was a mechanic from 1980-2020 and electrical was one of my specialties. I'm definitely in the replace magnetic clutch column. Good luck to you!
If the goal is to start training players for MLB play for a smoother transition and more accurate developmental gameplay, then let’s change bats too."

Id say this is not the goal as the overwhelming number of college players do not make it to the pro ranks. Overwhelming being over 95%.
That cheap rig you bought will indeed weld plenty well enough to handle the task you listed and more. Welding takes practice and then more practice. You won't automatically weld well with any rig right off the bat as a beginner. Some are of course easier than others;however, none are easy just starting out. I've owned one of the cheap rigs for years and I've had a lot of success with it. I find a MIG unit with gas is easier but that's not under 500,00.
I don't mean to be a jackass but I think your trouble is just inexperience. You can overcome that! Good luck!
Ask cutting crew to cut your grass to the height you specify. This is not at all an unreasonable request. The sooner the better.

R.I.P. Coach! Your race has been run and what a fine race it was.
Year 7 for me. I love it. I can’t wait for the next morning when I go to bed at night!

Lack of run support is huge. Let's imagine he has an ERA OF 1.40. He still wouldn't have any run support and his team would still lose. Face that on nearly every one of your starts-that's tough to deal with on a continuous basis.
Very young to lose your young life never mind the unborn baby inside of you.
