Abortion/child support double standard

Even after voluntarily electing to have sex, women can still get out of the financial responsibilities of parenthood by having an abortion. (And even women in red states can still get an abortion by traveling to a blue state.)
In contrast, men have no way to get out of the financial responsibilities of parenthood if they impregnate a woman.
So should things be made more equal by allowing men to get out of child support if they renounce the baby within a certain period of time?

It’s her body and her choice
But if it’s her choice to keep it, you have no choice but to put your body to work for 18 years

Lol no.
Just don’t stick it in, in the first place.

Dave Chappelle had a solid bit about this very thing.

Don’t stick your penis in ugly or crazy chicks and you won’t have to worry about it

What if I stick it in a pretty chick, but I still don’t want to have kids with her despite how pretty she is?

Most women demand equality only so long as it is to their benefit.

Men should not be allowed to do this. Absent fathers used to be shunned and shamed and we were a better country for it.

I’m glad I’m not trashy enough to have ever dealt with any scenario you mentioned.

You’re a dude whining about reproductive rights.
You don’t need equality, you need perspective.

The State doesn’t pass laws to be fair; the State passes laws in its own favor. Child support offsets welfare benefits. The State is never going to let you opt out if it means the State is then on the hook.
