It's a shame they couldn't bring him back to life and do it all over again, 3 or 4 times.

In Alabama that’s not hard to imagine. I had Jury Duty in Bay Minette the last two weeks. It was all about showing up and then waiting and waiting and waiting. Never got selected for a trail because i stated my opinion. Lost 3 days of work and got a check for $30. So inefficient.

Exactly. People think the government is behind all kind of shite.. They can't even kill a death row inmate right, they damn sure would be able to put some elaborate plan together to control the world.

I still don't know why they have to make putting down a death row inmate so complex. Is shooting them "less ethical" than an electric chair or injection?

Reports say the execution officially started at 9 pm, with James's death warrant being read at 9.03 pm

So in other words, he didn’t SUFFER from 6 pm to 9 pm as the injection process didn’t start until 9 and was over three minutes later

Well it shouldn't be painless.

Put them in a small enclosed space and inject nitrogen into the room. Super painless. They feel zero.

It would be very effective. About 20 years ago, a couple of friends son died this way in an industrial accident. He was cleaning a tank.

A society that condones executions and abortions will not prosper. A consistent pro-life ethic is required.

It is ironic that proponents of the death penalty introduced lethal injection as more humane. We've had a few botched electrocutions, the firing squad of course is messy and the gas chamber can be unpleasant to watch. Hanging of course can go wrong and be unpleasant to watch.

The people who supported the death penalty wanted lethal injection because it supposedly was to be more pleasant like someone going to sleep. Utah was afraid that they were getting a bad reputation by having the firing squad. If you want the death penalty then you should do it in a way that makes a statement and leaves no question that the person was killed instead of making it appear the person is going to sleep.

Sometimes I really wish these "activists" would get family members murdered by the shitheads they are so quick to defend and let them deal with that the rest of their lives.

Really hard to imagine someone with this thought process.

Hellooooo, how about a little situational awareness.

I'm of the opinion that this is how it should be best case scenario. Cruel and unusual should be the goal. If the dude's death row got to the point where he's finally getting put to death, then it's probably 99.999% chance he is actually guilty of the crime. Why should we have any decency on prisoners? The whole point is deterence. Half of them walk out the next day doe crimes they should be rotting in prison for. The other half live a decent life with decent amenities. Being in prison should suck a hell of a lot worse than it does.

I find it hard to be compassionate about how someone is killed on death row. Death=death no matter how it's done. He's been housed and fed on the taxpayer dime for almost 30 years.
