Hanging was honestly humane

Nit sure. We had some guy drink a water bottle during court the other day, and was dead in 5 minutes

Reports say the execution officially started at 9 pm, with James's death warrant being read at 9.03 pm

So the actual lethal injection was quick and effective but they had to go through 3 hours of bureaucratic and legal red tape before they got to that point.

I can't see how that 3 hours was any more "cruel" than the 25+ years he sat on Death Row knowing what was to eventually come.

Give him an extra dinner roll in his casket. Problem solved.

A simple bullet to the head 25 years ago, would have saved a lot of time and misery. We really do make this more complicated than it needs to be. Wouldn’t it be more humane to just shoot someone in the head anyways? You could even drug them up beforehand.

It isn't difficult. A bullet to the base of the skull would solve this issue.

Especially when you consider that when done correctly it breaks the neck, resulting in near instant death.

The simple methods aren't as profitable.

I still haven’t heard a good reason for not using nitrogen. It’s cheap, painless, nontoxic (to the other people in the room), more humane than they probably deserve, did I mention that it is cheap?

Well we don't have to worry about him re-offending.

Even cheaper is a small room, a city dump truck, and length of garden hose.

Uh, yeah, you already said that, Maya.

Sounds like they killed him just fine. It isn't their fault that the guy probably came in dehydrated as hell and they couldn't find a vein.
