Except it wasn't torture. Unless you consider a three hour wait torture. If that's the case, his lawyer(s) should be in jail for dragging things out for 28 years.

Because there are better drugs for the task - hence them attempting to establish IV access in the first place to assure correct dosing.

We throw away fentanyl every day in our OR. The people on the streets of SF and Seattle and Portland also have no trouble getting fentanyl. It’s actually very easy to get.

We could easily give them propofol or any narcotic until their heart stops. As others have said, it is needlessly complicated to execute a death row inmate.

They should have made him watch pledge week at Alabama.. He would have died within 4 days.
