There are 3.3 million active registered nurses in the US, making up 2% of employed Americans. Additionally, there are around 1M retired nurses.
Taking that into consideration, 59000 Americans die each week. If we assume nurses to be 2% of that, 33 is a remarkably low number (should be over a thousand)
