3 kids vs 2?

We have 2 kids, 1 boy and 1 girl, and I always thought I wanted to stop at 2 kids. For those of you who took the leap to have more than 2 kids, was it worth it or did you life become too crazy? I am worried about getting overwhelmed from being outnumbered as parents, less time on the back end to enjoy retirement, etc. But, on the flip side, we enjoy our kids so much, I do worry if we stop with two that I'll always feel some regret/guilt about not having another rugrat running around.

You have to switch to zone coverage from the man-to-man.

3 kids would probably win since they have the 2 kids out manned

You just have to switch from 'man' to zone defense.

As of last Wednesday I went from 1 kid to 3. I’m nervous for future...

I've heard that 3 is the cliff. Once you have 3, you can have 5 just as easy. Man vs zone.
We stopped at one, box and 1

So the shifty one is going to start getting 12 yards at a time?

That's the problem, I've always believed in man defenses vs zone.

If my parents stopped at 2, I wouldn't be here.

Go for it. If you are thinking about it now and don’t, you will regret it later. Kids are awesome and will keep you young.

My dad traveled quite a bit for work when I was younger, and I was a surprise 3rd boy 13 months younger than my middle brother and 5 years younger than the oldest. We put my mom through the ringer quite a few times, but she handled it like a champ. We’d often get the ‘post week of incident whipping’ when my dad got home, though.
That being said, I’m adamant about only having 2.

3 is definitely harder than 2. Basically you have to switch from a man to man coverage to zone.
That being said, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Watching them interact together is amazing. Plus if you have a desire for more kids then do it. I think u will regret it later on in life if u don’t try.

I have 4. 18,14,5,and 3. My situation is easier because the older can help with the younger. Just keep in mind, everything becomes extremely expensive the more you have. All of us to Disney World is $600/day just for tickets. Stay at a hotel, either need a 2 bedroom suite or two different rooms. Between school tuition and daycare, we're spending a small fortune every month. My 2nd wife is 10 year younger than I and wants another. It ain't happening.

Let it roll man, and let God decide. Deep down you want another, so just prep for what it takes.
How old are the others?
Disclaimer...Im the baby of 3. Pretty much 2 yrs apart from each other. Bro 4yrs, sis 2 yrs older. So yeah I was an "accident" to them, but a miracle to my mom. Ha

Odd numbers mess you up on vacations. If you have three, stop at four.

My 3rd is still in diapers so maybe it hasn’t hit me yet, but the hardest was 1 to 2 kids. With 1 kid you only need one parent around and they can easily handle the kid. The other is free to go shopping, fishing, night out, etc. and the parent watching is fine. With 2 kids, after 3 or 4 hours the parent by themself is worn out and ready for a sit on the bench. 3 kids is the same it just happens a little faster, and you basically just get used to being worn out non stop.
So outside of the money which honestly is negligible if you don’t let it bother you, I think 3 kids is great.

2 to 3 is much easier than 1 to 2.

You'll have no help over the top... God have mercy on your soul.

We thought we'd stop at 2 as well. The jump from 1 to 2 I thought was hard because instead of one parent getting a break every once in a while, both parents were working more with 2 kids. The jump from 2 to 3 was not so bad, in comparison. Our third child has been a blessing.
