That is entirely way too much for a qb that is in his thirties and relies a good bit on athleticism to make plays. No way in hell I’d give all of that up

This situation is unfolding. A divorce is imminent.
Seattle is certainly entertaining trades and Wilson’s agent is getting out ahead of it to let them know where he wants to go and let the social media muddy the waters.
Pete Carroll is a defensive coach. He probably wants defensive players.
Lattimore would have to be on that list.
The only player that I would not deal is Ramczyk.
Otherwise, deal away

If u can legit win the super bowl, frick the picks. Especially bottom 5 in first round picks. The Brees window is closed. The great defense window is not.

Would require many first rounders
To get another HOF level quarterback for the next 5-6 years it may be worth it.

That's why you absolutely make this trade.
Can you—or anyone else—tell me why you think Seattle would even entertain this trade, much less make it? I’ve seen pages and pages of posts on why the Saints should do it, but literally zero on why the Seahawks should.

Russell Wilson is the quarterback who is most similar to prime Drew Brees. Wilson modeled his game after Brees. He would be a seamless transition.

If you have Wilson, those 1st round picks will all be late picks...you do anything in today's game to get a franchise QB

And the Seahawks already have one. Why again would they give him to us?
As much of a no-brainer as you all agree it is for the Saints TO DO this, surely y’all are smart enough to realize it’s exactly as much of a no-brainer for Seattle NOT TO DO it.

Same reason that Stafford and Watson are on the move. Sometimes, you need a clean break.
Posted on 2/26/21 at 11:17 am to Hot Carl
They do it because wilson forces their hand or they do it because pete carroll hates him enough.
All the saints need is for carroll to think he is smarter than everyone else and they can get any qb and run the ball.
He hates throwing the ball. Don't be surprised if they trade him.

Would be amazing if the Saints can pull this off.
