We’d basically have to completely give away/rebuild the team around him. I wouldn’t hate it but if he’s wanting to go to a contender it would be tough to put a Super Bowl ready team around him with our situation and I don’t even know if it’s possible to get him regardless.

Not getting my hopes up or reading too much into it. Why wouldn't they inquire about him and gauge what kind of return it would take to get him? QB is a position of need for us, so it's at minimum, worth looking into.
