Saints have inquired about Russell Wilson

Sounds like the Saints have contacted Seattle about Russell Wilson's availability. I think it would be great to get Russ.

I wouldn’t be mad if we got Wilson. He’s a great QB.
But I seriously doubt this happens. He’s so expensive and no telling what we’d have to trade to get him.
I’m guessing they are looking at the potential of signing him as a FA in a few years when his contract ends and they can say, “hey remember when we tried to get you a few years ago!”

Not getting my hopes up or reading too much into it. Why wouldn't they inquire about him and gauge what kind of return it would take to get him?
QB is a position of need for us, so it's at minimum, worth looking into.
