Seahawks’ QB Russell Wilson has not demanded a trade, his agent Mark Rodgers told ESPN. Wilson has told the Seahawks he wants to play in Seattle but, if a trade were considered, the only teams he would go to are the Cowboys, Saints, Raiders, Bears.

It would take 3-4 first rounders. Plus a player

If we get russ we're a supper bowl contender. Even if we'd have to offload one of ak or mt to get there we are the odds on favorite to be in the super bowl from the nfc this year and for the next few years no questions asked. Those 1sts wont mean much.

he wouldnt have to win alone

Please don't say winston is a logical choice.

You do this trade now and don't look back.

Winston will have y'all committing suicide by game 4

if he can be had, we have to do it

don't care what it costs

this makes us contenders for the next 2-3 years minimum

I can’t cheer for Winston. I can cheer for Wilson.

Is a three team trade possible in the event the Seahawks may not be interested in MT?

Saints - Russell Wilson

Seahawks - 2 Saints 1sts, 3rd team 1st

Third team - Michael Thomas

So, if Winston were the Saints QB, you could not cheer for him? Sad.

No. He’s too much of a clown and his past makes him completely unlikable.

You’d forget about it all if he were like 35-8 with 4500 yards

That isn't going to happen.

They have Lockett and Metcalf... Take out Thomas and throw in Lattimore. Their defense was trash

No idea why this got downvoted. Those two guys are two of the better WRs in the league and their defense only improved last year when they started playing a bunch of shitty offenses.

So, I guess you would not be a Saints fan then. Not sure how you could not cheer for the QB of the team you want to win.

But I seriously doubt this happens. He’s so expensive and no telling what we’d have to trade to get him.

no telling?

sure there is.
put on your gm hat and call them.

word is he wants out.
saints have the o line.

I think hes over his best peak.
but his current state makes new Orleans very competitive.

make an offer. get in the pool.
keep talking.
maybe you find common ground.
you do not say, I will not try.

Also, if you don’t have a stud quarterback in this league, you don’t have shite. The #1 path to irrelevancy in this league, the ultimate coach-killer, is a mediocre quarterback or a project quarterback.

There’s likely nothing we could do with 3 consecutive #1 draft choices that could equal the impact Russell Wilson would have on this team.

Do it.

Then why in the frick do you think Seattle would do this? Pete Carrol is fricking 70 years old. They’re not trading prime Russell Wilson (on a very team-friendly deal) for a few 1st rounders that will all almost definitely be in the mid to late 20s.
