Well, hit piece or not, Kamara was absolute dog shite last year. He was pass protecting like a high school scout team RB and had absolutely no burst. Hell, Taysom on a Robocop knee had more burst than him.
I love Kamara for what he did, but I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with cutting him. He is done!

I love AK, and I think he could be ok in a role. BUT he absolutely should NOT be paid like a lead back.

I watched less of the saints last year than ever before in my life (37)- I still think Kamara is awesome, perhaps those 2 things are related ??.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it was clear some of these moves post drew Brees was a mistake. Including keeping Alvin Kamara and I'm a huge fan.

It was a desperate re-signing for fan service when it looked like we may be in the wilderness for years. Kamara hasn’t been a consistent playmaker in what, five seasons? I think the Saints have a lot more options at their disposal than in October 2024 and Kamara has done nothing to inspire confidence since then.
