Hayward as the centerpiece

This is not a thing. Hayward is a good player with one of the worst contracts in the NBA. We know it. The Celtics know it. Everyone knows it. He will not be the centerpiece of any trade that nets them an all star.

I’m not going to be surprised if their best offer has Hayward as the centerpiece and not Tatum

A deal with Hayward as the best player coming over has got to include what like 7 1sts right?

Hayward is a negative asset right now.

Made the mistake of going over to the MSB. My God those frickers think we're choosing between Jaylen Brown and one pick and the Lakers trash offer

I can’t get the possibility out of my head that lebum convinces AD to publicly declare that he will only sign with the Lakers when he hits FA, tanking his value. I’d be done with the NBA.

Even if he does that, Boston still seems like they'd want in. And if he does that, shite, I'd take the best offer of them/NY just to say frick off to LA to lose another year.

Are people really just going to worry needlessly from now until June?

Man that's gonna be exhausting

Gotta give you credit man. The delusional fan in me saw you as a pessimist for most of this season, but i noticed a change in your posts as the inevitable became closer to fruition. You’ve definitely had the best intentions. Now let’s just use the Celtics as leverage to snag the cure for aids from magic.

It's sad that the MSB think that the Lakers initial offer is "the best" and that no other team would be willing to risk it for a 1yr rental.

Like kuzma, rondo/filler, and their late 1st is going to be sooooo worth it.

If the 2 offers was that and brown/filler/1st from Celtics its automatically better. Purely off the 1sts alone.

With the NBA’s trade deadline approaching, the Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans have yet to discuss the offers the Lakers made for six-time All-Star forward Anthony Davis, but that conversation is expected to take place next week.
The Pelicans are considering making a counter offer that would ask for two first-round picks and add a Pelicans player to the deal, according to people with knowledge of the situation who requested anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter

I will lose faith in this team if they make a trade with LA

I don't trust anything coming out of California especially someone claiming the Knicks are out of the AD race because of the moves they made on Thursday. That's not an assumption that has any credibility and makes no sense.

ETA - Already posted

Not sure if this has anything to do with the leaks or if this is just Klutch trying to toss Luke under the bus.

In postgame locker room, Luke Walton preached to players on playing unselfishly, sources said, when several veteran players snapped back. As one source described it, “Heated scene.”

Yeah, on the same night Mark Jackson pushed for the Pelicans to trade Davis to the Lakers NOW, we get leaks about players almost coming to blows with Walton.

Does seem like Klutch is ready to install their guy, Jackson.

AD is a complete idiot for considering LAL long term

They are a dumpster fire

Hell at least the knicks are trying to start fresh and would likely give him a ton of power

The Celtics for obvious reasons

Seems like every franchise lebron has got his hands on turns to shite rather quickly even though it could be argued the cavs were already that before he got there

Anyway, here’s to lebron further destroying the lakers

He couldn't do it to the heat because pat Riley was there

And they're actually a well run organization
