Pincus(cap guy) is burning the midnight oil for trades to put AD on the Fakers and says they have to do it or the Lakers offer gets worse
He actually thinks the pels will throw in Mirotic to get another 1st out of LAL and that will be the clincher

Pels probably countered with "give us 2 more firsts and take Solomon Hill."

Pels should counter them with nothing but: “go trade for Jokic and then we can talk”

I know a dude that’s a diehard Celtics fan, and he swears up and down that Tatum isn’t getting dealt lol

Shid who knows. Tatum might turn into a superstar in the playoffs and make Ainge say yeah ya know what? Never mind

Fans of all teams believe they are going to acquire a superstar for nothing but magic beans because...something.
Fans of the team with the superstar think they are going to get an amazing package that helps them rebuild immediately.
The truth generally lies in the middle, but the team with the superstar in theory has the advantage.

It's all about the number of bidders. Right now there are 3 teams that are confident enough to price AD as more than a rental. Unfortunately only one and a half of them have assets to match their ambitions.

Basic capitalism.
One person has a commodity and the other wants to purchase it. If there’s now more than one purchasers, than the one possessing commodity can set the price.

I wouldnt call the knicks package a half.. top 3 pick, Knox, Smith and three more picks is a massive haul. I like the idea of having two lottery picks in same draft to bring in franchise together.

They have a 40% chance at a top 3 pick meaning they have a 60% chance at something else. They only get a half because I'm rounding up for them.

I just want the deadline to pass.

If pels can slide a couple spots down i want to say they would have a 12 percent chance with their current pick to be top 2 and knick currently have around 27 percent. That would be 39 percent on getting Barret or Zion with the other pick in lottery as well. I think this would be ideal if cards fell into play for this franchise.

I havent watched the guard from Murray State but Im hearing hes coming on strong and giving the draft class three big prospects.

well he is right. 100% never happen

If Tatum isn't on the table, then AD won't be a Celtic. Simple as that. And there's a good chance if AD isn't a Celtic, Kyrie isnt either depending on how the playoffs shake out. So if that's the case is Tatum really worth 2 superstars???
Really just need the Knicks to hit top 3 and I'd be good with trading with them.

The funniest part is we know that’s a half truth. The Lakers offered multiple packages including a godfather package.
This one was probably the worst one, clearly leaked by the Pels to say “hey, frick you.”
Sowing discord.
