There should be an exception for rfas imo. If the kings ultimately have the rights to retain him, I see nothing wrong with the player and team seeking a trade before free agency starts. The other teams dont matter, he obviously would've signed an offer sheet with the bucks.
13 and Bledsoe seems more likely. I'd be thrilled with that tbh. Jrue and 13 for hill, pick 6, 24 and the rest of the bucks haul.
A lot of these guys are literally given everything they could ask for from a young age. I'm not making excuses for grown men, but it's easy to see how some players dont plan for a life after their talent fades. I'm a strong proponent of more financial classes at a young age. Too many kids are raised poor, develop poor habits and spend most of their early adult life trying to break the cycle.
I dont root for injuries. I hoped his recovery would be slow because im a scorned fan. That said, you couldnt come up with a better example of why this was such a retarded move on his part, along with the doubling down and basically trashing an entire franchise en route to a bullshite ring. Believe in yourself kids, but when youre staring tens of guaranteed millions in the face, dont play the victim. Swallow that massive load and love it.
This exactly. My dreams of winning it all have diminished, but I just hope these guys get a chance to at least finish this hell of a season. We’re getting some kind of sanctions regardless, might as well ride this season through.

Word. Ingram has stepped his game up since the deadline though. I’m not totally against the lakers package, but that’s like plan c or d to me. The lottery going against the knicks & Kyrie leaving Boston is the only way I take the lakers deal.

Cousins and Davis went full press on getting him to re-sign. I’m sure watching both of them leave right after has shown him the type of loyalty these guys love talking about.

Let’s remove the locker room experience for the rest of the season. As long as there’s a chance he could be pinned down while naked by multiple dudes, I can’t see him stepping to the side.

He’s injured, we want to lose, and we picked up a 2nd round pick while doing a favor for another franchise. Maybe one that will be looking to trade Beal in a year or two.
