I've definitely given up any hope with this ownership group. It has been bad for awhile but I always was thankful for her because she kept the team here when there were more than enough reasons to flirt with selling it to someone that would move them. But now I care so little about the entire franchise that I am wishing she just sells it to whomever. I'll take the risk the franchise gets moved because at least it'll be easier to fully quit on them if they're not here. Hopefully that doesn't happen and a new owner keeps them here and actually NEEDS the team to win instead of throwing just enough money at it to keep the product afloat and get the TV money. We don't have to be the laughing stock of the league, we just choose to be because the alternative is spending more money then they are comfortable with and failing. Benson doesn't care about the negative press because its not enough to hurt her financially. She knows next to nothing about the sport, next to nothing about the finances. She lets Tom's friends tell her what's going on and not a single person outside of that circle has come in to tell her what a massive dumpster fire her business has become.
