Oubre at least gives you some size on the wing.

Yeah I wouldn’t be upset with it at all if it’s only players we’re giving up

Seems like a lot of warriors fans rave about his defense

Oubre is a good defender. His shooting has been poor this year. He also expires which is a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it.

Mfing this. Anything to get rid of the clogged backcourt needs to be done, unless we're getting that superstar by the deadline which I doubt.

Watch JJ remember how to shoot once he's traded haha

Well he's not going to stay this bad all season and once he's traded there will be a bunch of pressure off since he won't be counted on as the only 3 pt shooter on his next team.

I just want Ball's bum arse off of this team as fast as possible. I don't care if we trade him for future seconds, just get him gone stat

Stan can and should be doing that now, but maybe this is Griff's way of forcing him to give the young guys time.

Pistons get Lonzo, Isiah Joe and 21 Philly 1st

76ers get JJ and Derrick Rose

Magic get Danny Green and Svi Mykhialiuk, Philly's 2021 2nd from NYK, and a Pels 2nd.

Pelicans get Sekou Doumbaya and Evan Fournier. Fournier in his last year but he's shot 40% from 3 the last 2 years. If he works out well, we resign him.

Bledsoe/Kira
BI/NAW
Fournier/Hart
Zion/Sekou
Adams/Hayes

have a 10 man rotation. I do'nt ever want to see 8 guys play when all 10 are healthy.

Next step would be finding a better true facilitator at the point, and a stretch big that can defend. And that's what the draft is for.

Have heard Lonzo is not the only guard for New Orleans available. Other teams certainly feel (or are trying to project) that they are open for business with their backcuort.

They obviously are referring to someone other than JJ. I'd assume Bledsoe.

Interesting..

I wonder if Warriors want Ball and Redick.

That would likely mean Wiseman or Draymond coming back to Pels, as it would be a little difficult to match salaries otherwise without destroying their roster.

And Oubre straight up for Ball would work, but would have Pels in the tax.

That deal is too good for us. Doubt we get anywhere close to that kind of value.

Would clearly have to be part of a larger deal or chain of deals wherein we also send out Lonzo and take back less salary.

Ya love to hear it. If we move all three I won't be upset.

I'd be interested to see if the Warriors would be adding any draft compensation to Oubre for JJ, even if it's just 2nds. Hes shooting poorly this season yes, but they may see more value in him playing with Steph and getting all those open looks. May make them willing to throw in a little sweetener or two.

If we got Wiseman for Lonzo I'd pretty much build a statue for Griff

I actually missed that post.

We are not getting Wiseman or Draymond for Lonzo Ball and JJ Reddick

Detroit has no seconds of their own for a while. I think Lonzo, a 2nd rounder in Isiah Joe, and a 1st from Philly for Rose and Doumbaya are fair value. If they wanted a 2nd then fine. I don't know how much they value Doumbaya, but i would think they want more picks than anything right now.

Fournier is an expiring. I could see him having Mirotic type value, who we got 4 seconds for. Svi and 2 good 2nds seem like enough for him, but hell i'll throw another 2nd at it if it's necessary.
