This offer generally seems weak but to me the picks are what matter here. Their own or the hawks picks for next year could be massive down the line.

Hmm I don't know if I would want Johnson or Barnes. Barnes is a bit bigger. But Johnson is a more explosive athlete and has played a lot of PF too. He does have injury issues though. I heard they are about to cut Bassey. Maybe we get him included?

Keldon Johnson is a bad player. Takes ill advised shots. Doesn’t really play team ball. Honestly would take Barnes all day.

Could it be a nature vs nurture debate? Maybe just a bad system for him or too much responsibility given too early?
That Spurs team has been horrible and Johnson is/was a chucker. But the dude is talented. He's also 7 years younger than Barnes. I think I'd rather take a flyer on Johnson..

Maybe. But if he can’t be a good player under Pop, I doubt Willie Green will change his ways. I firmly believe why Dejounte became so good was because of his tenure under Pop.

Is the Sacramento deal for Derozan done? When you’ve been traded you can’t be aggregated in another trade for 30 days unless they changed that rule in the CBA update 2 years ago. That would mean Barnes can’t be flipped again if the Derozan deal is official.

I've seen that because Barnes was absorbed into straight up cap space, he could be aggregated. But I don't see Spurs having any interest in Ingram.

Exactly. Wemby looks very close to ready to be the best player on a contending team. Start putting talent around him. The Spurs don’t really have a true PG either, so adding more secondary creation would help. BI’s problem here wasn’t skill but habits and role. He’d have a different role with the Spurs. That and Pop should break his bad habits.

I wonder if Ingram and CP3 ever made up from that time Ingram tried to kill him. They had some sort of relationship before that due to CP3 running some NC basketball camps.
