I don’t think they will do a straight trade up of Turner for Hayward. There is going to be a third party in there imo. Especially adding Oladipo to the mix also

Maybe this makes Justin Holiday more expendable for IND. Would be a decent backup wing option for a lower cost

Indiana wants to shed salary, so if they are getting Hayward, then Turner and Oladipo are going out.
and the more i keep playing around with roster construction, the more obvious it is that Lonzo needs to go. We need a true SF and BI needs to be the 2.

Pelicans get PJ Washington and S&T of Jerami Grant

I would expect Baynes to make more than the BAE but I guess you never know.

He's 34, and just learned how to shoot a 3 this year. his average salary the last 5 years is right at $5M. I think 2 years at $4M with the BAE is enough for his age. I think it would be a waste to give him the MLE. He's not worth much more than $5-6M.

It's $3.6, but his minimum isn't much different at $2.3. I'm sure Stan is a potential draw, but if all we're offering is the BAE, why not ring chase for the minimum and not lose much?

Portland is acquiring Boston's Enes Kanter in a three-way deal with Memphis, sources tell ESPN. Memphis gets Mario Hezonjia and 30th pick (Desmond Bane) from draft night deal as part of trade too. Celtics get a future Memphis draft consideration.
