You would think right? However due to the crap nature of crossovers, DC and Marvel don't consider the editions as cannon.

Captain America takes Batman down. It would be a great fight to watch. But after the utility belt is empty Cap takes over.

Some of yall are retarded. Batman would beat his arse in under 30 seconds. I don't think a damn shield would save Captain America.

Batman. Bats would've already studied Cap and broke down ever element of his fighting style just on the 1/2 percent chance they would ever meet.

I would beat batman in a straight up fight even though I'm much slower, weaker, and less durable because I've read his file.

Captain America wins if we're talking anything other than a straight up popularity contest.

this isnt a gladiator fight like the other thread. those circumstances never happen. this is a "real world" comic book encounter. do you think Batman would allow himself to be drawn into a fight where he doesnt have the upper hand? Cap gives orders as well as takes them.

As I said Batman fights dirtier than Cap. Bats would make sure he has every tactical advantage before engaging with a super soldier. This aint the arena. It would be a cold, dark street fight. I pick the Knight.

Okay I'll give you that. If we are talking about anything other than an arena style fight, then Batman has a pretty good chance of winning. And if Batman has time to study Captain America, and dictate terms, then Cap probably doesn't stand a chance.

Batman wins. He's the only character in comic book history capable of keeping dossiers on how to win against other super heroes.

He apparently lost his dossiers against regular humans though and can't take them down (see Joker).

Therefore the only way Cap stands a chance is to lose all his powers and take on Batman as the skinny twerp version of Steve Rogers.

Batman wins easily. A shield can't stop a batarang.

No, it can just absorb kinetic energy is all, but I guess Batman's stupid fricking Batarangs are stronger than Hulk's punch, Thor's Hammer, or any other strong shite that Cap's shield has taken head on. fricking Batarang, are you kidding me...

Like other's said, Cap and it's not even close.

Bruce wouldn't want any piece of Steve Rodgers. Bruce may be a finely tuned human in peak physical condition, but Steve possess fighting technique and battlefield prowess that Bruce simply cannot match.

Let us not forget that Steve has killed men, many men, and I am sure he wouldn't think twice about putting down Batman.

Captain America would make short work of Batman very quickly.

Can Capt die from blunt force trauma? I don't think so. He heals fast enough to recover. Batman on the other hand is not enhanced and therefore dies in this bloody battle. The Bat is not a super hero in my book, neither is Iron Man.
