the vision/cyborg thing was my point. you let one be genius while saying no to the other.

also, actual comics and stories>>>>>wiki.

anyone can add to that article and link one part in a comic, which takes the publication as a whole. not how the characters stand and are written now. those wiki articles all sound like the early concepts of the characters where each one was more over powered than the next.

anyway, stumbled upon this. found it pretty ironic with the bane talks:

Still waiting on someone to tell me how SPECIFICALLY Batman beats Captain America.

It's easy the other way around. Captain America punches Batman directly in the face. Fight over.

The only way I can rationize Batman beating Caps, is if Caps doesn't realize he is in a fight. Batman could then sneak up on him, and stick an exploding batarang in his eye or something. If it's a straight up fight though, I don't see Bats having much of a chance.

Do tranquilizers work on Cap'n? Maybe he could tranquilize him. In all seriousness It would take a mistake on Cap's part for Batman to win.

Batman is my favorite hero ever, but there's a reason most of his enemies are just normal people with no super powers. He gets pummeled by Killer Croc, Bane, Poison Ivy etc until he knows their weakness.

Batman meets Cap. Batman points to the symbol on his chest, revealing he is in fact "The Batman."

Cap dies.

pretty easy to me

Cap beats Batman easily. Super human strength and the shield give Cap the win.

This is the last thing that Batman sees before waking up with Alfred standing over him.

Besides, Batman never beat up Hitler.

Best reasoning so far in my book.

Bane's lame arse beating up Cap in some crossover comic is reason enough to throw every fight in crossover comics out the window as being complete shite regardless of winners.

batman is trained in several different types of martial arts ...

captain america (the one in the movies) is not trained in martial arts ... he is physically stronger and has a shield that is almost impenetrable, but he is not the tactical fighter that batman is ... and batman has lots of gadgets ...

that is how batman beats that fairy, leotard wearing steroid freak ...
