Haven't watched it yet, will start tonight. Thought I'd see a thread of someone getting through the first few episodes though. It's 13 episodes long so no way I'll binge it.

That's disappointing if true but these NetFlix MCU shows have typically been as good as their villain and the bad guys in this one look to be pretty standard government conspiracy/cover up people.

The main complaint I'm seeing is that it's too long.

Why does Netflix keep doing that?

Almost all of their marvel shows run out of steam before they hit 13 episodes.
Luke Cage did...hard.

Anyone saying that can take their negative opinion, turn that son of a bitch sideways, and stick it straight up their candy arse.

Luke Cage ran out of steam after 1 episode. The dull atmosphere, slow story, and realization that Cage was way more powerful than anyone else in the show really discouraged me.

I'd imagine it's how their contracts are set up. 8 episodes would pay less than 13 thus bringing in lesser talent.

Just watched the first episode. It kicked arse. May have too many filler eps though.

Can anyone explain the email Netflix sent me today? It had the title, "Suspicious activity ¦¦¦¦¦ Marvel on Netflix ¦¦¦¦¦" and those black bars appeared in Outlook.

Does this relate to the show somehow? The text in the second line did not appear in the message, just a large picture holder.

must have gotten it a bit earlier than you guys. I'm on episode 10 binge watching and I don't want it to end. Love it.

So you need to have seen the other marvel Netflix shows? Or does this stand alone?

Here is one of the negative reviews.

quote:

At a time when mass shootings, gun control debates, and domestic terrorism are all over the news, a show insightful and brave enough to critique our culture of violence might have had a real impact. The Punisher is not that show.

like WTF do these people expect?
