I have a strange, unreasonable dislike for Miles Teller. I enjoyed Whiplash, but disliked him throughout it. Can't explain it. There is no basis for it in my mind, but it is a visceral reaction.

I think it looks promising. Unique premise. Plenty of opportunities for tension. They just have to deliver on the promise.

Because you can just tell he’s an unlikable person IRL. Supposedly he’s a huge a-hole and it bleeds through in the performance

I’ll check this out. I like the premise enough, and I kinda dig Miles Teller (though I get why people don’t).
I do wish they wouldn’t have said what the gorge is in the trailer though (unless that was a misdirection).

This looks like one of those movies where 80% of it is boring as frick and then something happens while your taking a piss and heating up some pizza rolls.

She needs to stay in her lane. She looks so unathletic and fragile, but they continue to put her in action flicks. She is very good actress, but in the proper role. It was the same with the fluzy in Peaky Blinders, she just isn't believable. Also, she needs to eat a sandwich.

Have you watch The Offer on Apple+? Story of the making of The Godfather. He's really good in it. Something to try that might change your mind on him. Very underrated show in general.
