I must have missed something with the story line. I thought there was a plot to also take out Camilla and Marty run the Cartel for the FBI.

Did I dream that?

I think that was just a cockamamie solution from Wendy when she was having her psychotic episode.

jason bateman said in Farewell to Ozark that we would be happy with the ending...

One of the most interesting things to me about the Farewell to Ozark special was seeing the lengths they went to in order to block sunlight so they could maintain the blue-ish filter look of the series. These contraptions are HUGE

Wendy is such an evil manipulative power-hungry count, but that last 15 minutes made sure we all understood that a democrat would never, ever jeopardize the security of an election…

And it was the R trying to tamper with the voting machines in exactly the same way that... nevermind

Ok so see I thought it was that she thought it would be impossible to do without getting caught not that it was past where her morals would go. In fact at one point in the car she calls and tells him she’ll do it and it’s only after the dude that gets her all of her political connections tells her that he’s got a lot of other backers that she flips on the guy in the casino. I could be wrong though

It's a pretty strong admission that the voting machine game is about fraud and corruption - regardless of who they depict (project) doing it.

Why are people saying they won? Are they still controlled by the cartel? They are still screwed

Ruth had to die. At least she went out like a badass.
I kept waiting for Three to pop Camila with the rifle from the roof of the trailer.

How does Jonah killing a guy lead to a spinoff? I don't think that character could carry a spinoff. Ruth might have been able to, but that clearly ain't happening.

My money is on a feature film to wrap it all up.

BB resolved Jesse’s fate with “El Camino”. “Peaky Blinders” is going to do this final season and then wrap it up with a feature-length movie. It seems to be the going trend.

There are not enough main characters left to do anything with. The Byrdes and Camila are it. And Camila was a late addition as is. They would have to introduce new people and disrupt the entire thing. The finale just sucked.

Ruth was going to launder the cartels money.

Obviously that isn't going to happen.

Getting out was a dream.

Am I the only one that thought it was lazy writing to have Ruth pull up to a black SUV in the rain and just get out and walk up to it?

She’s smarter than that. Especially with the heat that was on them

I mentally checked out after Wyatt was killed…double homicide, missing baby, cops all over the house…then Ruth just walks into the barn and there’s piles of heroin on the table that no one found? The last couple of seasons was peppered with that type of totally unrealistic scenarios (even by suspended belief standards) that went too far.

Yeah now that you mention it a lot of gaping holes in the story

it was also laughable the amount of alcohol Wendy's father consumed

Two takeaways

1. Y’all keeping talking about how much y’all hate Wendy, but Marty is far worse. Yes, Wendy is a huge k.unt. But Marty is the entire reason Wendy is allowed to exist

He is absolutely a wet used tampon of a pathetic man. It was hard for me to even watch him the last few seasons. Just pathetic

2. The ending was the worst part of the show. Jonah had the biggest moral compass when it came to protecting family and friends above one’s own well-being. He would have been thrilled the PI was about to vindicate Ben.

But instead, now Jonah is willing to kill the one person who actually did right in the world and fought to find the truth about Ben? That’s ridiculously lazy writing

Wendy can be hated on easily, but I blame her loser alcoholic father for that.

I got a kick out of the scene when she found his stash.

I became a Wendy fan late in the show.

lazy writing

Also, the Byrdes are smart enough to launder money in a casino with the FBI in the building going through their books and watching them, but not smart enough to realize leaving Ben's remains in a goat cookie jar on their mantle while they're actively claiming he's a missing person isn't a good idea. And that's the factoid they chose to end the series over.

I was MEH about the ending. Great series though.

They soured all the characters for me. I didn't like any of them at the end.

She is so rich she couldn't hire personal security? Then again maybe she is too much of a free bird for all that.

I don't normally complain about tv show endings, but this one very much disappointed me.
