Too many guys trying to pad their own stat line with HRs, the playing the game of baseball as it was mentioned to be played.
Moo St spent 3.5 Mil on thier current roster. LSU >1mil.

Stop trying to swing for the fences.

Jay wasn't joking about NIL, because most of these guys are looking like scrubs at the moment.

We shopping at Highpoint and Grand Canyon Univ.
These guys have to stop swinging for the fences every at bat. Just drive the ball to the gap. Make contact on a bloop hit. Instead they want the HR.
I wonder how many “Pro” athletes have NIL deals. Outside select QBs, or WRs, I don’t see many on TV. They may have local deals, but I doubt the Left Tackle has a 4 million dollar NIL deal.

So how these guys gonna handle minor league ball?

We have enough NIL resources that we don’t need to put more rev share percentage into baseball.

Then Why did JJ say in an interview that LSU isn’t as committed to baseball in rev share as some other teams in the conference? Moo St spent over 3 mil Rev share, compared to LSU less than a million Rev share wise.

LSU better find more Rev Share money for baseball. We are seeing the results of baseball having to split the last remaining 5% with softball, Gym, tennis, etc.

What bothers me most about this game is (1) ULL hasn't hit a ball hard all night; and (2) Half of their players swing like Austin Bain and are poking balls through the 4 hole.

It’s effective.

We are the fly out kings!!!

Because all they do is swing for the fences instead of trying to make contact and drive the ball in the gap.

Always thought it was nuts that it was in Bossier, but they get the arena for free... 90% of the teams in state run along the I-10 corridor..

Give me a break! Cry me a river with this SLA is too good to drive north. For once South La has to make a drive to compete in a state title. I have to drive to SLA 3 times a year min. Because SLA has a monopoly on football, baseball/softball, and track. Heaven forbid these sports are not played in NOLA, BR, or Lake Charles. But, I forgot, we aren’t “Louisiana” to y’all.

You still looking?
I really don’t get the hate for the NCAA by everyday fan. Yes, they screwed some things up, and played favorites at times, but there has to be some organization in charge of the College athletics.
ESPN made the call. They want the OM story line for the next week.
The solution will be what ever makes ESPN the most money.

How many Billions has ESPN made on the backs of college athletes? Yet, they conveniently forget to criticize themselves.
Man, I got into the wrong business.

At this rate, why would the players agree to any kind of restrictions. They hold all the cards.

Also, I’m not a lawyer or anything, but how would a CBA work if more than half of your union is turned over every 2-3 years? Could newer players sue that they weren’t represented when CBA was agreed to when they become the majority of players?
