Everyone assumed LSU was guaranteeing $25M in NIL from prior reporting

No one should have been. It was always reported as $25M-$30M total, including the $15M in revenue sharing.
UClub can't spell his name correctly either, huh?
When you name your source, you lose them. Deciphering the sources from the sauces is the best part of this board.

If LSU didnt already iron that out with kiffin they are dumber than even I believed.

They have ironed it out. Verge is willing to wait for Kiffin to finish this season.

if I’m Verge I give a deadline.

Verge already said he's willing to wait until the end of the playoff for the right coach.

maybe Sexton told both of those guys to go ahead and sign because Lane has made his decision to come to LSU.

Correct. Drink doesn't sign with Mizzou if he knows he's a candidate for LSU and the job is still open.

And that was the right call. Would it have made Kenzel’s night better to have people booing when he’s being honored?

I don't even think that was the reason why. BK's pending litigation against the University probably was the reason he was told not to come, if that's true.

The “free BK statement” was absurd. No one is holding him hostage

I think Kenzel is claiming that he wanted BK on the field for senior night and LSU wouldn't allow him to be there. That's probably what the "free BK" is referencing.
Add Nuss spinning into a sack and not targeting TreyDez in the redzone.

Ole Miss isn't going to let him coach the playoffs if he is going to UF.

This is the play Ole Miss needs to make after we take care of Florida Saturday.

The play is to let the best coach you've ever had take your team into the playoffs and try to win it. Not try to make someone look bad like a jaded ex-girlfriend.

If the team is making money, why would they care?

Because winning teams make even more money.
If Kelly wins the lawsuit, he has to get the legislature to appropriate the funds to pay his buyout. He'll be added to the long list of appropriations that already exists. In other words, if it comes down to this, he'll never see his money.

This is all just a game of negotiations that will get settled eventually.

I'm not renewing my tickets next year if they don't make a change.

This was my reaction when they hired Dumars. Don't regret it at all.
That $54M is going to be paid in monthly installments through the end of his contract term and is mitigated by whatever job he gets in the future. If he gets a lump sum of some number he is satisfied with and gets the mitigation clause waived, he could get that money from LSU plus make more money in a new job (coaching, media, etc).

I think we figured out with the last offer that you dont get them if your YTTV account is paid through Google Play

I don't pay through Google Play. I got the last offer for Sept/Oct, but I don't have this $10/month for 6 months offer.

Why is everything oriented to the same side? Shouldn’t the logos be oriented to the sideline they are near?

Because they need to be correctly oriented for TV.
Down vote for yet another false post blaming Woodward for Jimbo's buyout.
2nd half of A&M last year was when I really started to doubt. They had no answer for a QB change, and we found out afterwards they didn't prepare for Reed at all during the week. Letting Milroe do the same thing after a bye to fix it cinched it for me.

It's well documented that Byrne immediately flew out to Seattle to meet with DeBoer.

You think he needed to get on a plane to offer people the job? I have no clue what the Bama process was, but I can promise you that the AD got on the plane once the deal was done, not to offer DeBoer the job.

Probably some other things that money could be used for in the poorest state in America besides failed football coaches.

But it's not going to be. The money comes from boosters who are specifically donating it for the purpose of fulfilling the head football coaches' contracts. They aren't going to donate it to fix streets or build levees.
