Been watching through King of Queens and it still holds up. Arthur Spooner is a legend!

I'm wrapping up watching through every season of Wings right now.

Before that I did Seinfeld, after I watched through...
Bob Newhart
King of Queens
Barney Miller

Soap is on Tubi, that may be my next watch.

Been a few years since I've seen it, but because of your post just it's available on Prime

I think it's funny how you can get an approximate age from most posters by their recommendations

There isn't much that I can add that hasn't already been mentioned: Married w Children & Cheers are my go to for laughter and nostalgia. Feel like I need to rewatch Coach.

Shows like Cheers, and probably Coach, end up being a lot funnier to me because I was watching them with my parents and so many of the jokes were way above my head. So, a lot of it is still new.

Everybody Loves Raymond has some funny episodes, but Ray us just such an annoying character. Whiny, bitchy, spoiled wuss with the most annoying voice. I can only watch so much.

Yeah, 'old' sitcoms...?

I was expecting this thread to be a discussion about shows like "My Little Margie" and "The Life of Riley."

Seinfeld, Friends, king of the hill? If you consider it a sitcom.

Not making a thread title six words longer to protect the easily triggered.

the original three seasons (2003-2006) of Arrested Development will never not be hysterical imo

I love watching old episodes of Taxi. timeless show with an amazing cast.

Wings was underrated in its time imo and it still cracks me up today

Soap, if you can find it. It is hard to believe that and WKRP has such short runs.

Beverly Hillbillies is my GOAT for classic sitcoms.

Most underrated: Scrubs
Hidden gem: Parker Lewis Can’t Lose (early 90s)

I do too and to me, the best episodes are the ones before Don Knotts left the show and mostly filmed in black and white.

Never cared a bit about the character Warren who briefly took over as deputy

The Carol Burnett show was good then and good now. Great cast that worked well together.
