Let's be real. Most of these kids could care less about the offense their head coach runs while being recruited. Its all about how much NIL money they get. Some of these kids will choose one school over another b/c of being offered 5-10K more.

Keyes from Hattiesburg, Bralan Wommack and a couple other players were better recruits in my eyes based off film than Mathews.

Both Gulfport and Tupelo had RBs who signed with Mississippi State and both had over 150 yds and 2 tds in the game.

As a kid who grew up in their eras this statement is 100% correct. The MLB hall of fame has about 10 players from the juiced era and Pete Rose that deserve to be in WAY WAY before even mentioning the name Jeff Kent.

This kid is big but seemed to underperform throughout the season. Not sure if because teams were double teaming him or running away from him but he didn't have near the Sr season he had as a Jr.

Speaking of Sexton, I have heard he represented 14 or 16 SEC head coaches at the beginning of this season. He could move up to 15/16 with Kelly out. He almost has a monopoly on all SEC football coaches
