The show feels cheap and poorly edited.
Watch the camera work of Vader and OWK in that gravel pit or whatever. It’s freaking amateur hour with how shaky the camera is.

A couple of things...the Forbes article points it out but I had thought about it earlier. In the original movie, Obi-Wan calls Vader Darth, like it's his given name.
Also, I went back and rewatched this not recent episode. In the graffiti in the safe house, was that a rebellion starbird 3ed sister sees? Given the timeline, would the starbird be in use? And why would Jedi draw it? Wasn't it something that started with Saw Herrera's crew?

I think the canon explanation for that was Ben was being sassy/demeaning towards Lord Vader by just calling him Darth. Obviously, had George actually known the plot of episodes 5 and 6 then, he probably would've said Ani.
The real explanation is that George had no clue there would be other Darths or sith lords.

yeah you can’t be bothered by stuff like that. It’s inevitable. Nobody wanted to make this movie except Lucas. It came out of nowhere

he didn't even decide to make Luke and Leia siblings until he got stressed the hell out from his divorce while making Return of the Jedi and decided to stop making Star Wars movies.

Obiwan quote from ROTJ (directed at Luke):
“To protect you from the emperor, you were hidden from your FATHER”
So, according to actual canon, Obiwan knew Anakin was alive and Vader would be after the kids when they were born
This show is getting stupider by the episode

Before you make a nitpicking argument you have to first nitpick yourself.
What you use as support does not necessarily support your conclusion. The statement supports Obi-Wan knew Anikin had been alive in 4ABY but does NOT suggest he knew that in 9BBY. You can't use a statement I make over a decade from now to try to prove I knew it today.
If you just don't like the series or just desperately need to not like the series just admit it to yourself. Making up arguments that fail in logic doesn't do any good for anyone.

What nonsense is this?
OBW was last seen in Ep 3 prior to this miniseries. In the final scene of that movie he was instructed by Yoda to train with the force ghost of Qui-Gon during his solitude. So the creators of this miniseries interpret that training to mean, burying your light sabre, and telling Qui-Gon to eff off when he appears to him? Didnt happen. Ep. 4 is proof that OBW kept true to what he was directed to do by Yoda
Just admit this show sucks, and it lies about it being OBWs lost years. They used that to sucker people in, just to give us a black, female lead to satisfy Kathleen Kennedys feelings of inadequacies of simply being a coffee fetcher for titans like Marshall, Spielberg, Lucas, Zemekis, Chris Columbus, etc. She sucks at storytelling in their absence

Hiding Luke to protect him from Anakin/Vader does not necessarily mean Anakin/Vader knew Luke was alive. It would be a good idea (and a lot easier) to hide Luke from Anakin/Vader if he didn't know Luke was alive. Actually Vader not knowing might make the fact that they hid Luke on Tatooine a little more understandable.

Did you miss the parts where he is trying to commune with Qui-Gon? If you don’t think that is going to happen in the show, you’re too dense to be getting so worked up about it. Kenobi trained the guy that destroyed the Jedi order and the Republic. Let him have a crisis of faith for a few episodes

No, according to the 75 new Star Wars pages that have popped up on my FB feed, this show is awesome and you're a racist for not liking it.

What is this jibberish?
It’s pretty freaking clear Obiwan knew Vader existed based upon what he actually said in the original trilogy.

He knew that at the time of the ROTJ which happened 10 years from the show.
It’s called a timeline.
If he learned Anakin was alive when Luke was 10 those things would still be true when he was 20.
Now the real plothole is “ When I left you, I was but the learner, but now, I am the master.” makes no sense now
The answer of course is how can you make this series and not have them fight?

Vader clearly still has shite to learn.
Dude is playing w/his food instead of immediately killing Obi-Wan when he has the chance.

They also will clearly fight again in this series after Obi-Wan gets his mojo back and Vader will lose.

Can’t imagine they would have kissed if that was the plan all along.

oh no, anyway.
Did you want him to say... To protect you from the emperor, you were hidden from the emperor and his stormtroopers, inquisitors, and semi-canon bounty hunters but I didn't know your father was still alive so I was hiding you from him too.
Did you really think Obi-Wan knew Anakin survived Mustafar?

If Anakin/Vader knew Luke and Leia were alive and never sent someone to check at Owen's place on Tatoine, he is either an idiot or he was intentionally ignoring them because he knew the Emperor would either kill them or train one of them and kill him.
