Her acting is terrible and she’s simply not believable as a villain.

This is so dumb. She’s pretty good in that role.

Why didn’t they shoot down all the escape pods? Lord I’m glad the internet didn’t exist back then to suck all the fun out of everything.

Vader had been letting him run the whole battle. He is tormenting him, and figured he has nowhere to go. It’s standard vice in a lot of movies. I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the nostalgia.

The problem is Vader said “GO GET HIM”

So he clearly wanted to capture him

So why stand there

They literally told you why.
There were no life forms on it.

Droids show more acting range than the third sista

probably a good thing he didn't recognize OBW. May have had some old Order 66 urges pop back up.

I am 99% sure the clone trooper DID recognize Obi Wan. His lack of reaction indicates how the clone troopers felt after they were abandoned.

Should’ve just rode an eagle to Mordor and dropped the ring in

That’s before he saw someone helping Obi Wan. Shooting a trooper and then sending a droid to get him. He probably wants to see why this person is helping and if he can sniff out additional Jedi or Rebels that Obi Wan is working with

Vader wants his revenge but he’s pragmatic too when it comes to the Empire and its interests.

Not that I care, but isn’t that almost certainly due to writing and direction as opposed to acting ability?

I have seen her in stuff where she was fine, so you are probably right. She may just be miscast too. Switch her and the Sand Snake lady, and I bet both would be fine.

Been thinking about this show and I had an epiphany

This show is written and directly with certain “money” scenes in mind for each episode with “key” dialogue

And then they just fill in the gaps with bullshite to get there

Like an 8 year old telling a story

First Ben and Leia rode with storm troopers and were discovered AND THEN killed the storm troopers AND THEN they got away

Then, Ben ran into a town and Vader showed up AND THEN they fought by a really cool fire and Vader dragged Ben through the fire JUST LIKE when Anakin was burned but backwards AND THEN Ben got away

Substitute each AND THEN with “who gives a shite what we write”

Finally a reviewer who isn’t afraid to tell the truth. He critical of the script, casting and direction and also points out many of the things we’ve been saying here and some stuff I haven’t seen yet.

I agree with that guy that it’s pretty boring. And this
quote:

I mean, sure, Ewan McGregor is a very good actor and he does a great job with Obi-Wan Kenobi. If only the script and the direction could keep up with him.

is my biggest disappointment... that guy is a professional actor unlike all these unknowns cast as major characters we’ve had lately

the plot isn’t any good. Anyone can see that, but it’s still enjoyable at minimum

is exactly right. The visuals are lame and it’s obvious they are on a sound stage in the street shots. And the scene someone above where kenobi saves leia from falling and then two seconds later jumps out next to her knocked me completely out of the scene. The show just isn’t written or made well. Or well enough for Star Wars anyway

sorry one more
quote:

How come the Empire couldn’t track down the huge, slow cargo ship that Obi-Wan and Leia escaped on last episode? It’s clearly slow and they know what ship it is. So...maybe go after it?

“I checked the manifest!” is what she said. You saw the fricking ship take off woman

They were literally in running rooftop firefight with bounty hunters. Once Leia falls, they just disappeared from the story. Ben has a little heart to heart with Leia in the alleyway below. I legit thought there was a scene missing.

That building was about the same height as the scaffolding he jumped off of to confront Grievous and say Hello There
