It’s the eve of the 3rd episode premiere, and I’m excited to see where the story goes. I wasn’t blown away by the first two episodes, it definitely has Disneys hands all over it but I still think this show can be good.

All the promo material was from the first two episodes, so we should be in the dark here on out. At least that’s exciting. Hopefully we get a little bit more Vader.

So it comes out that the 3rd Sister and Vader are a couple in the next episode. Holy shite

If they ever show Vader in his mask I’m going to be worried about who’s really under that mask. I just hope there’s none of that spiritual fighting nonsense like Luke and Kylo Ren.

It is possible he is dead but honestly unlikely.

Unimpressed with 90% of the first two episodes. Holding out hope Vaders appearance drives the rest of the seasons storyline and we have less stupid shite like the chase of Lea in the woods and the third sister. Her acting is terrible and she’s simply not believable as a villain.

He’s not dead. Wound wasn’t fatal.

And I got downvoted 1:1 for saying this series was all about the strong black female, not Obi wan or Vader

what a frickin joke if true

Luke god damn Skywalker…the grand inquisitor is the main antagonist of Rebels Season 1, which takes place 5 years or so after this.

Padme is still alive and is actually the one pulling the strings behind Anakin being Vader.

P + A = V

You're all fricking idiots if you don't see it.

Third sister chick remains awful and they’ve given an 8-year-old way too much to carry in this show. Still like everything that actually focuses on Kenobi

Yes. That shite was awesome.

Critique away at the episode and the characters… ok that’s fair.

But if anyone didn’t enjoy watching that episode, don’t listen to a word they have to say anymore. They should just quit Star Wars altogether.

It was badass, and I wasn’t expecting anything to this level until the finale.

The one caveat I have is that Obi Wan better get to one-up Vader over the next three episodes, else the "Circle is now complete, when we last met..." line in A New Hope becomes bullshite.

Vader should have walked through that fire, seeing kenobi should have unleashed all his rage. He wouldn't have left fire stop him and let a droid take him away imo

Eta

His suit is supposed to be fire resistant btw

Couple of things I noticed: Zach Braff was in the credits and I think played a stormtrooper. And James Earl Jones' Vader voice sounded so much better in this compared it sounding old as hell in Rogue One. I'm assuming they used the same technology that they used for Luke's voice in Madalorian/Boba Fett

Maybe he has a high level fear of direct fire now (like the Hound in GoT). It would certainly be understandable

There’s plenty to critique and analyze and over-analyze, but this was unexpected for me. I didn’t expect this much Vader time this early or a showdown.

His gloves and the padding on his chest and arms consisted of blast-dampening armor, and were made to be impervious to fire and well-protected against explosions, piercing, and poisoning..and I'm pretty sure he's aware of this.
