Damn, I think you’re right. I didn’t really understand that interaction (and why he called her a bitch) until reading this. I think that’s exactly what she implied.. and of course we already know that the old man used to frick Bella.
Still that makes it seem odd the way that Maeve is constantly doting on Eddie, considering how much she hates Seraphina. Unless she actually hates Eddie too and she’s just trying to burn it all down.. which, honestly, would make a lot of sense.

I didn’t take it as an implication - she flat came out and said explicitly that Eddie is his brother. And then in walked Eddie into the room.

I think Eddie is just Maeve's pawn. She knows he'll do her bidding.
I can also see Kevin taking Eddie out. Eddie will use the daughter somehow. Take her hostage maybe.
