That reviewer is being dramatic. It’s simply not that bad.
So what? The point was, his body didn’t decompose and stayed perfect. She was hugging him. It’s a reasonable thing to say when a corpse comes back to life.
This guy doesn’t think Superman could find a way to get into the house?

why does DC suck so bad at this?
After having seen the film and hearing it was cut by about 45 minutes by WB mandate, and after seeing what WB execs did to the theatrical cut of BVS, I am coming to the realization that WB execs are mostly to blame for this. For all of Snyder's faults, and he has them, I feel this film could have been helped by setting up Steppenwolf's motivations and relationship to Darkseid, and at least giving Aquaman some kind of backstory. If WB could be the movie studio they always claim to be - "Where the director is King and his vision is supported"- I think we would have gotten a better product- but not necessarily a great one. STill, the pace worked for a comic book feel- but they left a lot of story on the table IMO.

mean, i hated DC comics as a kid too; thought marvel was way more edgy.
superfriends was the worst cartoon on saturday morning.
Wow- you really suck.

quote:do coffins smell bad? or is it usually the rotting corpse that causes the smell? this is a pretty petty complaint

Martha Kent knows Bruce Wayne. She knows Bruce Wayne has some measure of remorse and guilt for Clark Kent's death.

Yet she gets her farm foreclosed and has to pack up and move out. No Wayne Enterprises bailout for Martha.

Yeah, it’s hard to believe anyone would foreclose on Superman’s mom. That’d be some bad press and presumably a go fund me or Bruce Wayne would’ve just stopped it. But I think the movie explained she let it happen Bc she was ready to move on in which case Bruce wouldn’t have known about it.
Although I don’t understand why he’d have to buy the whole bank to get the house out of foreclosure. He could’ve just...bought the house.

Its now being projected to fall just under 100 million (95 million)
15 million short of it's initial projection (115 million)
And because you want to know it, Thor Ragnarok opened with 122 million.

Aggregates of critics reviews are meaningless?
come on, man.
I said I would give the movie a shot (and I will), but this is already looking like another dumpster fire.
You know it, and I know it.
. . .fricking fanboys. . .

It’s not a dumpster fire by any means.

I just saw it and I give it a 8/10. Could it have done with some improvements, sure. Though I am going to buy the blu ray when it comes out.

Estimates keep dropping. Could be looking at 90-93 mil now. This movie might struggle to get to 250 million. Just unbelievable.

I guess the conspiracy to automatically dislike all DC movies has now spread to all movie goers!!

Justice League needs to cross $700m-$750m to be profitable
I don't think it gets it. This may be a DC killer.

The whole Marvel vs DC fan feud makes crowdsourced reviews unreliable in this area.

Wonder Wwoman and the Dark Knight say hi.

I'd honestly give this movie a very narrow fresh on the T-Meter. I would not give Age of Ultron a fresh. It's definitely a step in the right direction, particularly when it comes to Superman.
