I don’t see a world where I could convince my Southern Baptist wife to that path. Didn’t and don’t want to now but it couldn’t happen under any circumstances

Thats actually a really hard question to answer. In my 61 years, there have been a lot of really good days. Maybe a day when my grandparents, parents, and siblings were all together when they were all still alive.

I would pick my wedding day for this reason. Both of my parents in the same room and being cordial (bad divorce 20 years earlier). Both grandmothers and 1 grandfather. Wife’s mother was there (great, great person). Stepmother, who I was close to, also there. One of my best friends was in the wedding. This was in 2002 and that whole group except for my mom are gone.

It was a good day and a fairly small wedding…less than 100 guests so everyone was family or good friends. Nothing went wrong, no drama and everyone had a good time. I even danced all night which is less than rare. And yes, it was a day I got laid so I can check that box. We went to the Saints/Ravens SNF game and left Monday morning for the Bahamas.

Been with my wife for over 30 years and lucky every day!

I just relive that one day for infinity? Then after I go back to present time or I relive the rest of my life starting from the day that I relived?

If that is the case, I'll go back to start of 2019 season and place money on Burrow to win Heisman, Chase to win Biletnikoff, and LSU to win the CFP NC. Make a lot of money.

He realized pretty quickly what that would mean for him.
if by “pretty quickly” you mean several weeks (if not months) exploring life with zero consequences (like banging the hot chick he saw in the diner)

but eventually he realized it was a deeply depressing way to spend eternity, until he figured out that he found joy in making other people’s lives better

and to answer the OP, if i was to live one day over and over again, it would definitely mean having my memories wiped clean when i fell asleep, i wouldn’t want to remember i was doomed to live it over and over, no matter how pleasant or rewarding it might have been

A basketball game my junior year in high school it was for the district championship in a very very small gym. People showed up standing room only for the JV game so they could get in to watch the varsity boys game. We won the game at the buzzer. It was Bonkers.
Game was loud as hell. The walls were metal so it was extra extra extra loud. It was awesome.

Wifey an I went to Exellence Playa Mujeres a few years ago for 8 days. The fourth day, we got up, ate breakfast, went to the beach, ate lunch, went and had a couples massage, had an awesome dinner, then got hammered on Mexican Viagra shots at the show that evening after dinner.

Also did the thing you do when you’re alone with your spouse at a five star resort 3 times that day.

That would be a pretty great day to repeat.

Considering the point of Groundhogs day is that the day is “wrong” and he has to make it “right”, this is the only worth answer on this site.

The day brought about the destruction of college football.

February 7, 2010. Got to watch the Saints win the Super Bowl with my family. Always wished I had celebrated more after the game. But would love to look at my grandpa's face again seeing his beloved Saints win the Super Bowl.

I think having your memories is part of the deal like it was in the movie.

How do you stop it? Nobody would listen to a warning of such a thing…
