re: Kirby blew this game

That last offensive play was dumb. I get wanting to score a TD but throwing the ball instead of running was not a wise choice. Run the ball and if don't get the TD, kick the FG with under 20 seconds to go. Go into OT and take chance there. Leaving 50+ seconds was a disaster.
It is a traditional condition among Hispanic community that originated in Spain. I dated a woman 2 years ago and we went to her friend's house for NYE. Her friend is from Honduras. She had 12 grapes for all of us. At the strike of midnight you eat one grape for every chime. It is to bring good luck for each month. Eating it under a table is to bring luck in love.

This was the first time I had heard of that tradition. It was different.
If he is healthy for Combine and has a strong Pro Day, I can see a team taking him in the 3rd round. This year he was injured and probably should not have played. Last year he can show what he can do when healthy. I think a team would take a shot on him at being a back up QB. He has the size and arm strength NFL teams covet.
LSU D did not give up 45. A punt return was a TD for A&M. The offense could not do anything with the TO gifted to them in 1st half. Then after the PR TD, the entire team quit on BK. The offense went into screen mode and had 3 and outs quickly. Defense was exhausted

A&M loss is definitely not on the defense lol. The offense was horrible. The Defense gifted them turnovers and great field position in the first half. The offense could not score bc play calling was shite and dropped passes. The team quit on BK in the 2nd half and it showed.

Vandy was not about scheme of the defense but players not having containment on their assignments. Many times the LBs would run into each other on inside and allow Diego to run outside. Also the offense could not do anything. No sustained drives. Any time that had a nice play it was called back for holding.

Game against Houston is bc the offense became the offense of entire season and defense is missing basically entire LB and DB starters. Plus some DL. It is the backups who were backups for reasons.

Houston had 0 opt outs. LSU had multiple on defense. Key players that helped LSU D be one of the better defenses in the country. Baker is not over rated. The offense sucked. After the La Tech win, Palmer, Favorite, and Taylor as well as Hanagriff said on post game talk shows that no matter how great the defense is if the offense can't sustain drives and score, the defense will break down. That's what happened.

Oklahoma would have been a win if the offense had any pulse. Defense got an INT and all the way inside the 5 only for MVB to throw an INT on next play.

I was drunk and lost my buzz during the first half. I was pissed at the first half. I left at halftime. I shared an apt with 3 friends off campus. I walked back to apt and drank more from the keg we had at apt. Watched the final quarter and saw the comeback. Last time I was ever that buzzed/drunk before a game.

Who the hell is "loan" diggs? Do we owe him money? Does he owe us money?
It is very underrated. Aaron Sorkin would go on to create The West Wing with many elements from this movie. Even the proportionate response episode stemmed from this. The French president is named in West Wing so continues that continuity.
Should have kept those thoughts to yourself.

He was horrible. The WRs could not lineup properly. He substituted players when there was no need and also added to the confusion. Wasted so many timeouts bc of poor/late substitutions or not being lined properly. The WRs could not catch. Could not get open or separation. Could not block. He was bad at his job. Needed to be gone.
Yes. 3 yr contract. If he leaves before March 31, 2026 he owes $5+ million

LSU hired Offensive Coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. from Ole Miss on a three-year, $6 million contract, starting at roughly $1.9 million annually and increasing, making him a top-paid assistant, with a significant termination clause if he leaves early. He followed new head coach Lane Kiffin, but was granted permission to coach Ole Miss through their College Football Playoff run before officially joining the Tigers.
Contract Details:
Length: 3 years
Total Value: $6 million
Starting Salary: Around $1.9 million (increasing annually)
Key Feature: A termination clause costing an estimated $5.7 million if he left before March 31, 2026, although this was waived for his CFP commitment.
You have signed for nearly 10 yrs and only have 10 posts???

4 OL drafted but the run game has been non existent for 4 yrs. Daniels in '23 was the leasing rusher. That tells you something when the QB is the one getting the yards. Not all were on QB designed runs. He did it bc the pass block broke down and he had to run.

Outside of Will Campbell, none were really developed. The OL was really bad this year and none were true freshmen that played. So nothing was taught in the last few years. He needed to be let go when BK was fired.
He has a tendency to not look comfortable in the beginning of his press conferences. He looked very relaxed when he said that and talked about channeling Ed.

I liked his response to the question about what will it feel like being on the sidelines as the home team and the environment being supportive.

I can imagine his offense looking like 2019 and how exciting it will be. I'm ready for Clemson lol

re: Kelly hire vs Kiffin hire

The media was split on Kelly. Some thought bc he was a winner everywhere he went and he could bring stability to LSU. Others never thought he would be a fit.

Lane is liked by the fan base he coaches lol. The media don't like him especially after this drama.

With all that said, I was very impressed by the PC. With what he said and how he said it it sounded honest and sincere. He is a competitor and wants to win. The fact he does not care about his salary and wants to know the money for the players speaks volumes.
I was very impressed with Lane PC. He was honest and sincere. Funny remarks. He talked positive about his experience with OM. I felt the decision definitely weighed on him and how he feels the power of LSU. Just knowing he wants to put a staff together and get players to win multiple NCs. I was sold on him.

"looses"

What did Bama loosen? What was to be tighten?
You do realize the playoffs have been around since 2014 and LSU made it as Number 1 seed and won it all in 2019, right?
Since A&M lost, I would imagine that the decision won't come until later. Bc OM still has a shot at SEC CG if Bama loses.
Ole Miss wil host a playoff game against Bama. You think Bama is losing to Ole Miss? The best crowd they had was 68K. That won't intimidate them at all.
