re: Old Guard 2 - Netflix

I did not like the first one at all. The whole premise is that anyone can get this immortality gift with no explanation. They don't have a connection other than being immortal and see visions until they meet. Then they can lose the power just because. The acting outside of Theron was horrible. I just found it funny that the immortals in a shoot out at the end are taking cover whereas the hired guns (supposedly trained former military) are not taking cover in a firefight. I would have liked a better connection each has to receive the gift and how they were chosen. I may or may not watch the 2nd one but my expectations are low anyway.
My most exciting play in LSU football history is Lionel Turner on a delayed blitz sacking Jason White in the 2003 BCS NC Game. I was at the game. Sitting in the section behind the band. As soon as that sack happened, I knew LSU was going to win. I immediately went to the kiosk selling merchandise and they opened the boxes with the championship hats and shirts. I got 3 of them. Returned to my seat with the shirt to watch the final seconds tick off. I lost my voice screaming. What made it better is the section over were a bunch of OU fans and from the start were saying LSU had no chance. Loved the look on their faces as they left as LSU fans cheered.
Who cares where the first game is? No one cared about where this game was being played first when it was announced years ago. Seriously when did LSU fans become pussies when it came to football?

I would rather LSU have all the home games being against great opponents rather than just 1. So let them come back next year and get the beating 2 years in a row.
I guess what makes a game "great"? Is it the ending? Is it the entire game?

Best ending for me live was the Earthquake Game against Auburn in 1988. The game was boring watching it years later.

As for the whole game, I would say LSU vs Alabama in 2022. BK first year. New players and freshman playing. Bama a 10 point favorite and LSU should get blown out. Back and forth mostly and LSU takes a lead late. Bama ties it at the end.

Bama scores first and then Daniels scores a TD on first play and gets the 2 point win for the incredible upset. Knocks Bama out of the playoffs essentially. Ending so many years of losing to Bama in Tiger Stadium.
Baseball is a game of "what ifs". What does it matter? LSU won. Capitalized on another team's miscues. Let it go.
He got $17 mil in 2021. You think he has not spent a good portion of that money? Now he is out $8 mil. Better believe she is going to have him pay it soon too.

Weird that you started at 2001. Why not 2000? LSU would have 7 titles (4 baseball and 3 football). Covers the last 25 years. Usually people go in 5 yr increments. Adds one more title to the SEC.

17 posts in 5 years. Maybe should have stayed out of this too. People who are believing her is not bc they don't like the other person. It is bc the other person has shown himself to be about him. He wants the attention and calling himself a "super fan" bc he carries some toy belt. He made the situation about him and not care about others around him especially children.

Then he sends 2 texts to apologize but sends a video to say he was the victim. He is definitely now owning but wanting to make it about him again.

Truly one of the best of the year.
Considering the thread title is based off Basketball NC or Baseball NC, it is implied which one do you like better.

My answer is baseball. There are better odds of the less talented team winning a national championship over a more talented team.

Look at this past season March Madness compared to this CWS. More upsets occured in baseball tournament than basketball. March Madness was a snooze. All top seeds made it. With NIL and transfer, that will be the norm with an occasional exception.

Only 3 of the top 8 seeds made it to Omaha. The top 2 seeds never made it out their regional. Neither did the number 7 , 10, 11 seeds.
For comparison sake, would a team that is the equivalent of Coastal Carolina in football ( say TCU) beat a talented team like LSU ( or Georgia) for the national championship?

No they would not. We saw that happen. TCU less talented than Georgia had the most lopsided loss in a national championship game.

Seems like you are defending Sanchez.

I have seen him at the Box. He is a few sections over. When the play begins, he lowers himself. He only stands when there is no action that is going on. As soon as the batter and pitcher are ready , he squats down or sits down if a seat is open. If you can't tell the difference between what he does and this "super fan" Sanchez does, than that is on you.

Guillot goes up and down the aisle and does this. He does not stand in front of someone to block their view. There is a difference. One makes it about the fans. The other makes it about himself. Guillot is never trying to be on TV.
And? Your point?

Did you read my post or only that little section?
Jay said in an interview before the CWS Finals that he wanted him as an assistant coach here at LSU. He knew that he would get the CC job so he decided to not hire him. He did not want him to come to LSU for a year only to be hired away.
You have a weird obsession over this considering your screen name has baseball in it. What are the 3 major sports? Football, basketball, and baseball. Sorry if you are an idiot and can't accept that. Sorry that LSU can win national championships in other sports while Bama can't.

Even if you just count one sport, LSU has 8 in baseball and Bama has 7 in football. LSU has more in one sport than Bama.

Baseball is included bc it is a major sport. Basketball is included bc it is a major sport. Common sense knows that the 3 major sports are football, basketball, and baseball. You seem not to have any.

If you don't want me to stop at that and include all sports both men and women, LSU has won 39 team national championships (football, baseball, basketball, golf, gymnastics, track and field). Bama has won 16.

I could go further and only include national championships recognized by the NCAA. If I did that, LSU would have 36 National Championships. Bama would have 9. Football is not recognized by the NCAA. Which would you prefer? LSU would still have more titles than Bama.
