Jurassic Park, obviously. First one, pretty decent. Second one - improved on the first in every way, ending with the explosive romp through San Diego.
This has got to be a troll. If not, you may be the only person who thinks this

But other than that and the Godfather trilogy, I cant think of any others.
lol sorry everyone, i thought this post was over the top enough that everyone would realize i was just messing around. thought the Godfather comment would remove all doubt.
so just for clarification - no i dont think the Jurassic Park sequels each improved on the original
I have downvoted my own post as penance.

1st, 3rd, 2nd is the correct order...

Meh. The trilogy was great. Buy my favorite is still the first one. I can rewatch that anytime. The third one was really good. But it depended too much on fan service, imo The Wolverine v Deadpool fights were amazing. But the storyline was lacking.

I don't like the second one because Vanessa.

Which one has the parachuting scene where everyone got murked, 2nd? That was probably my favorite part of the entire trilogy. The third when hes fighting all the diff deadpools was pretty great too.

I can see why some people may think it gets more ridiculous, but I think each of the John Wick series improves on the film before it.

i wouldn't say it improved... but they went from origin story to buddy "cop," to "buddy cop on steroids with nonstop incessant meta references and purposely pissing on the source material to the approval of everybody."
all three are good by any stretch but they are different movies to me
agreed. probably the greatest casted role ever for an entirely unserious movie possible.
his willingness to be as involved in the marketing as he was made for a unique and unmatched campaign.

In honor of your avatar, Jaws is definitely a series that improved with each movie

It defies the three part paradigm with a far superior part IV

No.
1
3
2
All good, but 2 is the weakest of the three.

The 2nd one is the worst of the three so no

No.
Again, no.
But in all honesty, I think I am one of the few who, really think the second is very good, and gets less credit than it deserves. (I do dig me some Domino!) But it isn’t better than the first.
And while the third hits on many notes, the story is a bit trash. I mean even for a (Fox) Marvel movie.
The primary reason this story works is how Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman play off each other.

I am really amazed by how much people reject the second one.
What was disliked about it?
