If the shows good i could care less about some blue eyed white haired black people being forced in. I loved most of GOT. It sucks how they ended it. So much could of been done better like Euron for example.

This isn’t something like the NFL where there’s really nothing that can replace it.
I have a backlog of TV shows and movies a mile long that I’ll probably not finish until my kids are grown. shite like this just makes me move these shows to the back of the list.
Although after the season 8 debacle of GoT this show had already been kicked back there

You're going to pull a muscle reaching that far He's not a Targaryan; he's a Velaryon from Driftmark which is in Westeros. So not only are you bastardizing the story to shoehorn token equity, you destroy the entire background story of his house (he had an older relative on the Kingsguard). I'd rather they write a character that wasn't in the books than do shite like this.
Another huge hole it blows in the story, he married a Targaryan. You know, the family that was so obsessed with keeping their lineage pure they married siblings? Way to go HBO. At least Slate won't write a bad article.
