If you live according to Christs teachings and Heaven and Hell as afterlife consequences dont exist then it wouldnt really matter because you would have effectively created Heaven for yourself and those closest to you on earth. So Heaven would in fact exist just not in the way we have conceptualized it. “On earth as it is in Heaven.” Maybe Heaven is more of a concept than an actual place… that would actually make more sense
Ethiopia . Never been colonized and has a rich history going back to King Solomon.
I just found out the waterboy was filmed in FL. Wtf!
The little easter eggs are great. Like the embroidered towels Bill gives out have L.D on them for lenore dauterive.. and bobby finding the ventriloquist dummy he made with his dad

I relate to that scene in shawshank redemption when Brookes gets out of prison and the world looks unrecognizable.. just replace automobiles with smart phones and social media
I mean i grew up on the west bank and rode my bike all over Terrytown with a couple other boys and never remember being scared. I look back fondly on drinking out of random garden hoses and hanging out at this baseball card shop and that skating rink.

Im a subject matter expert on psychopathology and there is no psychological disorder that causes one to murder/ take a life.. evil is evil… sometimes evil is superimposed on crazy but its still fricking evil and needs to be exterminated/ stomped out of society.
Face it dude society is now lame and gay. Do yourself a favor and get off your phone and get into gardening like me. Much happier. I dont know who half these people are.. thats how we win… stop paying attention to them

It was good for what it was but it wasnt the once in a lifetime great work of art people are claiming it is.. it was entertaining but formulaic and kind of corny without a whole lot of depth.

The whole relationship with the black secret service dude was so fricking corny

If you enjoyed the Japanese culture exploration; I highly suggest Perfect Days from 2023

To be honest me and my whole family have a mild obsession with Japan. Funny enough, it was watching those studio Ghibli movies like my neighbor totoro that got me first interested in japanese culture.. i just love how they approach everything with such intention… ive gone down rabbit holes reading about japanese tea making, japanese carpentry, caligraphy, automotives, animation, zen meditation….they truly put all of their effort in whatever they do.. it is unlike any other culture i have come across and i hope they continue to preserve it..

The kids and wife are going out of town.. i have the house to myself tonight! Im gonna check perfect days out. Thanks for the rec!

I couldnt recommend this film any more. It was so genuine and heartfelt. Unlike anything ive seen in a long while. Brendan Fraser knocked it out of the park as well as some japanese actors ive never heard of. It had the perfect tone and pace… i rarely say this but there isnt anything i would change about it. It was so well executed.
