Also Bran: "I'm waiting for an old friend" Stays outside in one spot all night doing nothing just so he can troll Jaime Lannister when he arrives at Winterfell.
Why does Bran shun his family and say "I'm not Bran anymore," but give a shite about the guy that pushed him out a window, 9 years ago? I think Bran has evil intentions or that's some stupid, inconsistent writing.

Is that for real? Or just a doppelganger

I really like this direction. I just feel they’ll try to wrap up the NK storyline too early, and they’ll focus on the intra-political drama after episode three.

I mean, we literally had them write that cringe "I've always had blue eyes" line and give us dragons being proverbial dads with a shotgun during Jon and Dany's date.

Anything else? Kind was wishing for more. Like Others have said, we don’t need a table setting episode.
Who is “we”?
They aren’t making it for the hardest of hardcore fans. They are making it for millions who have been on a 2 year hiatus. And even if they weren’t how are you gonna show how everyone gets to where they need to be?
This was necessary. I have no clue why HBO decided they needed to condense things into 6 episodes since they weren’t losing anyone, only gaining people. They could have spread this out over 2 more seasons.
But they didn’t do that. And so we can bitch about that or be happy to have what we do. We can’t change it now

You know those two guys you love and get drunk with? Here’s 20 million dollars for you to kill them both. It’s totally worth it! What a fricking joke. No one would ever take that deal that was capable of any human bonding, which Bron is.
If you don’t intend on going through with it? Bronn has no love or loyalty for Cersei.

And the trailer criers will say wrong.
You called it an 8/10 episode, but now you're saying it was mediocre again. As soon as someone shows up saying it was bad you take their side. You're such a frick stick.

Ok, first rewatch complete
Somebody catch me up on something- was Jon born before Rhaegar died? I honestly forget.
Wouldn't line of succession somewhat depend on that?
What I have found online is this order-
280-281 AC
Prince Rhaegar leads a royalist army to directly engage the rebels, but is defeated at the climactic Battle of the Trident, in which he is killed in personal combat by Robert himself.
King Aerys sends his remaining young son Viserys and his pregnant wife Queen Rhaella to the safety of the ancestral Targaryen fortress, Dragonstone island.
On Dragonstone, Queen Rhaella dies giving birth to her daughter, Daenerys, several months after her father died in the fall of King's Landing. During her birth a great storm wrecks what is left of the Targaryen fleet anchored at Dragonstone, for which she is named "Daenerys Stormborn"
281 AC - Theon Greyjoy is born, third son of Balon Greyjoy.[14]
281 AC: Robb Stark is born, first son of Eddard Stark.
281 AC: Jon Snow is born
If that's the actual order, then Aerys is dead, Rhaegar is dead. Jon is unborn, so the throne would go to Viserys as the eldest living Targ, right? That's if it were not in the midst of a revolt and exile. I mean, you can have a child monarch with a regent ruling until the child is ready, but you don't delay succession while waiting on a pregnancy, do you?
If that's the case, wouldn't the succession after Viserys go to Danaerys first, then to Jon?
Also, a note about all those complaints of Sansa being smart:
Sansa makes a snarky comment to Tyrion for trusting Cersei; I thought you were clever.
Arya is the only person who says Sansa is the smartest person she knows. Arya is defending Sansa to Jon, who showed up having given up his claim of King In The North to support Dany. She then tells Jon to remember he's family- a cut at what he's done.
The North is loyal to Sansa because she's been there and has been fair, while Jon split and then sold them out (in their eyes).
I wonder if Cersei is pregnant at all.

I mean I’d refuse to kill my best friends? What kind of a fricking moron would hire an assassin that is best friend’s with his target? They’re way more likely to tip them off.
Pro tip: when someone with a lot of power and influence and who has proven what she does to those that cross her, offers to pay you to kill her brethren, you at least appear to honor that. Or else you end up dead.

Seems like they played up Sansa as the only clear headed one. Everyone is worried about the NK and Sansa points out that there is another problem.
They set up bron reuniting with Jaime and Tyrion, that’s it. Nothing more there, he will betray Cersei because bros before hoes
I enjoyed tying everything back together

That's not how primogeniture works. Rhaegar is the eldest son of the king, that means everything goes to him and then to any male heir that he produces. Danaerys would get the throne ONLY if there were no other male Targaryens left in the line of succession. As it happens, Jon Snow (aka Aegon VI), is in the direct line of succession and the only true Targaryen heir.

did we get any indication that he does give a shite about the guy who pushed him out?

Okay, I just watched 3 times before checking in. Overall I felt it was a great episode.
I have 3 complaints. 2 minor complaints, 1 major complaint.
Minor complaints.
1. Jon, Arya reunion- I thought it could have been much better. To be fair this was one of my most anticipated moments, so they could probably never have made me happy.
2. Jon and Sam scene. They pulled it off well, but I feel like the dialogue could have been just a little bit better.
Major complaint.
Euron Greyjoy.
His character is getting the shaft so hard they should have just left him out of the show in my opinion.
They don't have enough seasons to do him justice, so why bother?
Euron himself doesn't realize it, but he see/knows things just like Jojen and Bran. He was a candidate for the 3 eyed raven, but Brynden Rivers/3 eyed raven took a pass on him in favor of Bran.
I would rather they just ignore his character than just make him a punk.
Great episode though, I was pleased overall.
