One rumor that has to be true, is that bronn and Cersei dated in real life and cant stand each other. To this point, as much as their characters are intertwined, they still haven't had a scene together.

Lena Headey has it in her contract that they are never to be in the same scene either alone or with other characters so yes that’s legit

Sure, taking over the continent and converting all living creatures into the fighting dead is cool, but I’m interested to see if the NK has another goal/reason for marching south.

I think the Night King and Bran are the same, fire and ice always fighting each other since the beginning of time. Building the wall was a way to separate the two, but the follies of man have broken the wall and now the Three Eyed Raven has to deal with his old demons.

Yeah, before he marries his aunt without knowing she's his aunt.

Them getting married before they all might die is definitely something people would do in that situation. Honestly, them being related is about as big a red flag as you can get to indicate that things aren't going to end well.

He pissed me off early on, but I guess I think that’s just because I’m very different from him personally.

I see him as the person who doesn’t want the throne, but has it thrust upon him. Exactly how his role at the Night’s Watch and in the North went. He’s the rightful king in my mind because of this.

Dany, while interesting, does seem too power hungry sometimes.

I like that theory, but then why would the old 3ER be located beyond the wall?

If they could sort that issue out, I’d be happy.

Bran: "There's no time"

Also Bran: "I'm waiting for an old friend" Stays outside in one spot all night doing nothing just so he can troll Jaime Lannister when he arrives at Winterfell.

Reading the books over the years, I always hoped there wouldn't be some big reunion show in the end. I thought George was creative enough to resolve the story in a fashion that wasn't hokey and unrealistic.

You are talking hundreds if not thousands of pages versus 6 episodes. You Have to truncate things. Plus budgetary issues.

Also, he should generally be aware that she has no chance of winning. Even if the northern army is wiped out, it would be more of a sign that they're all going to die than anything else.

It was 10 years in the making good.

Yeah, we may have known it but JS learning the most important knowledge in their world is incredible.

Not sure, hiding in plain sight maybe. I still think the 3ER and Night King are eternal foes and it's really all about them. The Night King only wants to kill Bran, that has been shown in several episodes when he had the opportunity to kill other people and chose not to. He could have killed Sam, Jon, Dany, etc. but didn't when he had the chance. He's fixated on Bran and I think it comes down to the eternal conflict. It's made even more compelling because the NK has an army and Bran is in a wheelchair.

Yeah, ya kind of do. Trust me. The vast majority of the audience is asking: oh who is this person again? How do they know each other?

Exactly. GoT is for the masses. Not every episode will please the diehards who post about it online.

You got my mind turning again, and I can see that Bran fricked up with warging into the ravens above the army of the undead. The old 3ER was magically protected until then, and once bran was “touched” by the NK he became a top target for the NK.

Nothing mad about it. She defeated them in battle. They refused to yield. She executed them. Anyone would do that.

Regarding Bron and the money to kill Tyrian and Jamie- Cersei isn’t dumb, she knows they’re great friends and that’s exactly why she did it. It takes him out of the picture for now and away from Kings landing where he could be a problem. If he were to stick around, he would be a weak link that Jamie and Tyrion could exploit. If he kills them then great and if not then she thinks she can get the money back and kill them all anyway. I may be getting it somewhat wrong but it is proven that Cersei isn’t dumb so there is more than meets the eye with this story line.

It was fine as an isolated episode, but it's a miss IMO when you consider they just spent 1/6th of their remaining episodes on nothing.

Also, and this is my bigger gripe, riding a dragon is one of the most fundamental, seminal moments of any fantasy story. It's not some "hey I got an extra scooter, hop on and let's head up to the Sex Waterfall" sort of thing. They totally whiffed at that. We've been waiting to see Jon ride a dragon for years, and it was a huge letdown IMO.

Def agree here. People are making too much out of her executing them because they were roasted. They didn't yield so were killed, pretty standard in this world.

Since Bran can see all, why didn't he stay inside where it's warm and only have someone push him outside RIGHT before Jaime arrived? lol

I think Bran is the only target, everything else is just superfluous. The Night King is trying to kill the 3ER once and for all. The joke on the audience is that the battle for the iron throne was totally pointless the entire time because the future of man is solely based on the battle between the 3ER and the Night King. Their decades of petty squabbling is all for naught.

Characters like Jon have realized this. Cersei and others still haven't grasped it.
