Just rewatching this episode. Any chance Qyburn went rouge to have Jamie and Tyrion killed?

Not a chance. He's far more likely to go rogue and attempt a pact with Jaime, if it can somehow buy him back into the Citadel.
Jaime technically owes him on the hand.

Qyburn didn't look thrilled this episode. Not at the news coming from the North, and not at the fact that he (the Hand, right?) isn't completely up to speed on Cersei's plans. And with Euron now banging her, Qyburn might wonder if you need a Hand when you have a Dick?

The solution was in S7. Killed the white walker that raised them and all his wights die

So it’s a “Kill the head vampire” thing?

We’ll see Arya jump on a dragon with John and sacrifice herself to throw the super-dragonglass weapon that Gendry makes her and all of a sudden at the last moment the army of wights collapses?

I think we’ll see the Valyrian steel of Sam, John and Arya alll play a part

I think it's time for an episode 2 thread huh? Time for some predictions.

I set the o/u on this at 100 pages, I was way off.

A lot less post bitching about book spoilers since they don’t exist anymore.

Yeah if people can’t read the books and then pretend that they are a hodor and say hey I think such and such will happen but I’m not a book reader ...then it cuts like 30 pages out at least.

I mean, that’s what it is lol. The iron throne adds intrigue, but the entire show is centered on the WW. Robb Stark could’ve run a train on all of Westeros and taken King’s Landing and they’d still be in the same situation today. I.e. all of the political intrigue IS insignificant to the overall story. It absolutely adds intrigue, but that isn’t what the show is centered on. If the last three episodes are everyone fighting for a throne after lots of people came together to defeat the real enemy, then I think they missed the point.
