Bran is going to be huge this season, for many reasons, but especially for that.

I think his abilities will help us unwind why the NK is doing this.

Hahahaha. I had too much wine during the show, so I failed a little with my words.

I enjoyed the episode. I’m approaching this season as a 6 part movie, not a series. Almost all those reunions had to happen now to get shite going. I maybe giving too much credit to the writers but I think this episode set up a lot of people to be caught off guard as the season goes on from what we are expecting based on the episode. The clues are there but we most likely won’t catch them or it will come out of nowhere.

As for some of the scenes most are hating on:

-I seem to be taking the Bronn scene in a different perspective than most. I don’t think Cersei believes for one second that he would actually go through with it even though he is a vocal mercenary. He risked his life to save both brothers and never received what was promised. He would have killed them already if it was about the gold. She made that offer with something else in mind. Just not sure what yet. She isn’t as dumb as most make her out to be.

-Hound/Arya reunion went perfect. He likes her more than anyone and it would suck if he went soft at that moment bc that’s not who he is. Arya understands that was his way of showing he is glad she is ok.

-Daenerys does needs to know when not to tell someone , whom she very much needs and appreciates, that she killed executed his family. She came to thank him but threw in that she went Mad King on his beloved brother.

-Sansa being a bitch to Tyrion pissed me off. He protected her and never did her wrong from what I remember. He looked out for her and didn’t even try and consummate the marriage he was forced to do. I think she is becoming more like Cersei.

**As for Jaime. As much as I love his story arc, I so want him to walk over to Bran and say “did you know I was about to do this?” Then put his sword through his forehead. Won’t happen though.

I'm sure this has been covered but what powers does Bran actually have besides being able to see everything from the past and the future? What can he do to kill the White Walkers? NK?

You can just tell that they have no idea what to do with Varys at this point.

Oh I think they know, but I'm not spouting theories because the spoilers are out and I don't need that shite again.

I think many speculate that Sansa takes on a dark purpose/sense of self. But that was a book reader theory.

Sam telling Jon that he's the rightful heir to the throne of the 7 kingdoms RIGHT AFTER Dany told him she "went all mad king on her brother (and father)"

I know Bran pushed him to do it... but that timing seems like Bran is trying to cause strife b/c he's now pissed at her

I’m just worried they’ll keep Bran in the wings. Make him stay quiet and unassuming, only dropping hints and facts when he HAS to do it.

I know him becoming the 3ER has made him become a different person, but I’m just ready to see them use him to his full potential.

Also, calling my shot now. Everyone dies except Tyrion, Messandai, Jon and Dany's kid.

Dany will die in childbirth.

Can warg into creatures on a mass scale, essentially controlling all surrounding forest creatures and potentially a dragon Basically the strongest known warg currently, potentially of all time.

In the books, when he’s connected to the tree, he essentially experiences reality from all nearby living creatures simultaneously and has shown some paracausal influence over the past (think Hodor).

i thought it was pretty clear that sam was pushing jon as the rightful heir to the throne as a way to get back at dany. but that was just my interpretation

I’m heavily leaning that way as well.

Tyrion helps raise the kid and tries to teach him the ways to “break the wheel” like Tyrion and Varys talked about.

My heart wants Jon to live though, since I love his character so much.

i feel the same way. which is pretty surprising considering i thought he was BY FAR the weakest element of the show the first three seasons or so
