Let's try and keep things civil. Let's hear some ideas on what you would do with season 2?

Do what you should have for the first season. Keep Vader out of it and have obi-wan doin secret ninja shite behind the scenes to protect Luke.

To be fair, it would be a new story.

It's just that it's hard to tell an interesting Obi-Wan story in that timeframe without fricking up the already established lore because between the prequels and originals, he's just bumming around and creepin' on Luke.

The first season was dumb as hell that they made him have a relationship with Leia and have him face Vader.

I would have kept Leia out of it, not Vader.

But agree with above poster, I’m still mystified they haven’t done KOTOR.

This. And end it with Maul finding Obi Wan on Tatooine and give us a live action version of the Rebels encounter

So super powered Jedi master teenage Leia season 2? It could be like Buffy the vampire slayer only she can be a muff diver in the Disney Star Wars universe. Hey I just wrote a Disney series in 30 seconds.

Ewan McGregor

Is 53, surprisingly.

10 more years and he'll be as old as Alec Guinness was in A New Hope

Not even Christensen’s presence could save Obi-Wan Kenobi, though. Upon release, Obi-Wan Kenobi looked like a massive hit. It launched with 7.52M views for the premiere’s first two days, but then dropped to 4.74M first two days views for the third episode the following week. That’s a 37% decrease. By its finale, Obi-Wan was down to 3.91M views in the first two days. While that’s a bad dropoff, it’s still over 1M views higher than The Acolyte’s opening. Paraphrasing Obi-Wan himself, the viewership was good…from a certain point of view.

Spotlight.
Was it popular enough for a second season or are they just desperate for content?

Okay. Why would he work on a series where they demoted him to tertiary status?

I can top that - in 4 years, Harrison Ford will be older than Alec Guinness ever was.

I say this to NOT cause controversy here.

I’m ABSOLUTELY for it if they can do a completely new story - while leaving out the obvious DEI storyline (and I understand it was done at the height of Hollywood thinking they HAVE to do it).

Disney will Not do that. There’s almost no hope Disney can make a new good Star Wars show at this point.

Wish Disney would sell off the IP. That won’t happen either, unfortunately

I’d like to see more adults bumbling around while chasing toddlers.

That was super cool.

If they want to do a second season just hire this guy and let him run with it.

It really doesn't matter. Hollywood has a creative disconnect with the audience wide enough that trying to bridge a gap between characters created decades ago and today is destroying anything that made these stories popular to begin with. We've seen countless examples of this, yet they apparently can skim enough off the names still to keep banging them out.
