Watched the first 15 minutes and had to turn this turd off. Why would you not make a show where they are acting when you've signed both of them up... Instead they are playing themselves?

I gotta admit I am starting to have McConaughey fatigue.
He's everywhere just playing up his same old schtick
I hate when actors get to the point where they don't act anymore, they just play themselves in movies, interviews, appearances. Basically just living off of a few projects 20 years ago.

Yea I like both of them. McConaughey is one of the better actors out there, I don't care if he is everywhere outside of movies. The guy is popular, who cares. Most everything he plays in is good and he does a good job. Though it actually has been a while since I've seen him in anything so can't speak to his recent stuff.
Watched the trailer for this last night and was kind of thrown off. So is it a reality show?

He peaked in 2014 (Interstellar) after an excellent five year run. He hasn't made anything good since.

The Gentlemen in 2020 is good job by him, even though he doesn't wander too far from what he usually does. It also has a out of left field Hugh Grant performance.

I have kind of enjoyed the first 2 episodes so far. They are acting a little and just playing fictionalized versions of themselves with actors playing their family members (fictional but seems like they at least used real family as a starting point). They also make fun of certain aspects of themselves including the Lincoln commercial.
I didn’t recognize Barry Corbin at first in the 2nd episode.

Just watched the first episode. Enjoyed it. Can’t really be upset that they’re playing themselves since the entire premise is based on real speculation/possibility.

I just watched McConaughey in The Rivals of Amziah King. I’m a beekeeper and he plays one in the movie. He did a fantastic job playing an eccentric wise cracking folk singing beekeeper. In the right roles he really can carry a movie.
