I feel like Ahsoka and Sabine and Ezra will end up staying on that planet permanently once they’re done with Thrawn. But there’s no way Ahsoka and Sabine are just going to give up on defeating Thrawn that easily.

i hate to be THAT guy, but i just don't care for Rosario Dawson in this role. she seems to stiff and slow at times, and really just old looking.
i get ahsoka might be a certain age. but someone who looked more "in their 30s" would have come across better IMO.

Actually agree, every single scene is the same mellow acting and same look. Low eyes, scoffs while blowing air out her nose, arms crossed, slight head tilt back.

For the show being named after her, the majority of her scenes I couldn’t wait to be over.

She lightened up a bit after Episode 5.

And how does Sabine go from having never exhibited any significant force ability and struggling to force grab her light saber from 10’ away to suddenly being able to force throw Ezra onto the ship from a fairly considerable distance away 2 minutes later?

I didn't mind that, to be honest.

Years ago, I bought a "Force trainer" toy, that was cool as hell. You wore something on your head which would read brainwaves like an EEG, connected to a tube with a ping pong ball in it, and a fan at the bottom. When you got the right brainwaves going (you'd sorta meditate and go into a zen mode), the fan would crank up and the ball would move. LINK

For the record, we do EEGs where I work, I understand the principal behind this, and hoped it would work. For awhile, I couldn't do it, and figured it was a ripoff.
Then, I figured it out- instead of staring intently at it, you kinda let your eyes go dim and start taking controlled deep breaths, and suddenly the fan would crank up. Once I got it, it was suddenly very easy to do.

Take that principal over to the show, Sabine never could make anything move, until she got the lightsaber to come to her. And once she did that, it could be an "oh, THAT'S how you do it" moment, and she could then do Force pushes.

cargo came from the catacombs, so i’m assuming dead troopers.

When did everyone in the Star Wars universe turn into idiots?

Thrawn went from being an unbeatable antagonist to a tactical idiot.

This is a reflection of the how stupid modern day writers are. The characters can only be as smart as the writers who write them.

This show was a mess.

They are from the catacombs of the planet so I am going to assume they are more nightsisters and/or force-sensitive dathomirian nightbrothers.

I honestly have no idea how they'll handle it now that the actor has passed away.

You handle it the easy way. You recast the part. I’ll never understand how modern audiences just won’t accept that characters can actually be played by different actors. I love Ray Stevenson as an actor. I’ve been a fan for a long time. I will miss him. Re-cast his part and let the character live.

I liked season 1 and the finale. I’m sure a lot of people will hate this episode and probably this season because of that episode since that was a mid season finale, not a season finale. It does suck that it will be another year at least before we get more, but this was Filoni saying 2-3 seasons and a movie.

The 2 biggest problems with this show are not enough episodes to cover everything they are trying to cover, and Rosario Dawson moving with the stiffness of a middle aged woman instead of a Jedi.

My guess will be that Ahsoka and Sabine will use the World Between Worlds to return home. That planet has some serious Force Ju-Ju.

Well, she’s not a good actor to start with, and I agree she’s been rather meh when on screen the majority of the time.

Totally agree on Rosario Dawson’s fighting, I think it’s the one negative to her performance. I actually like how she portrays an older/wiser Ahsoka, but she needed a stunt double bad.

My second negative to the show was the acting/direction that they gave Sabine Wren’s character, Natasha Bordizzo. It’s like they told her to act gloomy and down, and that is not the character she was in Rebels. Now, if she is a changed person because of her backstory, then flesh that out, because it didn’t come through in the acting. I wanted to see the fiery Sabine we are used too.

Overall, it was an ambitious script with the time that they had, but I like the series and am looking forward to a season 2.

Yea, could be Abeloth. Would be a good tie in from Legends. Hopefully we get more than just the movie in 2025 expanding on this story.

yea ffs

The worst part of this show is the dialogue between Sabine and Ahsoka, holy hell I want to fall asleep or fast forward through their parts.

We get this awesome lead up to Thrawn landing on Dathomir and then nothing. Still no idea what their cargo is.

We get Baylan headed to this mysterious light that he's been searching for and then nothing. (and now he's dead IRL, RIP storyline)

Ezra is home, yay.

Sabine and Ahsoka are "where they should be" while Anakin looks on at their failure of living with the hermit crabs.

What was the point in Shin? lol

Pretty letdown

Someone tell this dude television shows can have multiple seasons.

I think they definitely have another season and the plan is to bring in the Mandalorian
I don't know that we see another Boba Fett series, they can use the character with the other series

I was satisfied with the finale. I think it sets up a solid Season 2, where it will probably have 2 storylines going, Ahsoka and Sabine vs Baylan (recast) and Shin, while Ezra and Hera (and others probably tied in) deal with Thrawn and the Nightsisters.

It looked like those were statues of the Father, Son, and Daughter at the end. We also saw the Morai (Daughter) in the finale as well.

Just finished watching it and it wasn't bad. It sets up some interesting plot lines for another season if they do one, or leading into the movie.

I liked that Ezra rebuilt a lightsaber that is like Kanan's. When I first saw it on the bench I thought someone on here had correctly predicted a blastersaber. It was a cool opening to have Huyang talk about knowing Caleb as a youngling.

I liked the ending scene with the stone figures of the father and the son. I hope they continue to explore that mythos and we find out what Skoll was looking out at. As others have said, I hope they don't just drop his character arc because we lost the actor.

Was not a fan of the zombie troopers. I guess they weren't really dead the first time, they were just a cadre of stormtroopers that survived the trip on the star destroyer. I had n issue with the night sisters reviving them, but did they really have to act/move like the sterotypical zombie from every zombie movie we've ever seen? I was waiting to hear them start muttering about brains.

Also wasn't a fan of the sound effects during the last fight. Why did Elsbeth's sword make a ping sound? I guess it was supposed to be metal of some kind, but would enchanted metal ping when hit by a laser sword?
