The season finale premieres tonight (10/3) at 8:00pm God's time.

Does Baylan die?

Does that sexy beast of his apprentice die?

Does anyone die?

Discuss!

Only God can make that happen.

I think someone stays behind on the planet. I'm going with Ahsoka. Thrawn escapes but Ezra and Sabine find a way on the ship.

There better be a Zeb scene.

-Ahsoka dies and joins Anakin in the WbW

-Thrawn gets off the planet and brings the "cargo" to Exegol with the 3 Nightmothers to resurrect Palpatine

-Ezra dies (he's said he can't wait to go home wayyyyy too many times)

-Sabine goes and finds Luke to complete her training with Jacen.

I can definitely see that. Either he dies there or decides to just stay behind to give the others a chance.

I would find that extremely surprising unless I missed where this was just a 1-off season. There is no Ahsoka S2 without Ahsoka.

I haven't seen anything on if there will be a S2 or not. I just assumed like Obi Wan, there wouldn't be. Especially since Dave's movie (allegedly called Heir to the Empire) is coming out 2025. I'm not sure what else he could do with the characters besides kill them off.

Currently, Ahsoka has not been greenlit for a second season and the show was billed as a mini-series -

I think Thrawn beats him back to Lothal and destroys the city so Ezra could never come home. I really hope we don’t lose Ezra so early. He has to train Jacen.

I have no earthly idea what's going to happen. I think Ahsoka and company will feel they can't allow Thrawn back to our main galaxy so we get some sort of battle inside the ship. They likely "lose" and he does return. Not sure if they make it back with him or end up stuck on the planet.

I would be ok with that. It would be kind of unique and shocking to end the season (series?) with the good guys losing in a devastating manner. Kind of Infinity War like.

That being said, there is no one else in this time who could battle and defeat Thrawn right now. Who would? Mando? Luke?

Also, zero chance a mando-verse movie comes out before 2026ish. I'd be surprised beyond all belief.

I’d be surprised if this doesn’t culminate with Thrawn AND Ezra returning to the galaxy we know. I do think Sabine and Ezra, maybe even Ahsoka go back to the other galaxy eventually, though and make it their home

I didn’t know that there isn’t a confirmed season 2. That colors my entire view of this show differently if so. Seriously, if this was all they could put together for a miniseries, then someone dropped the ball. The whole thing feels like a prologue.

I assumed this show was setting up for a big Avengers style team up movie series with Thrawn as the main villain

I guess people can stop bitching about Ezra not wielding a lightsaber now

Solid finale. No way Ahsoka and Sabine aren’t making it back, though. But they couldn’t have a total happy ending. Someone had to stay behind to make it feel like Thrawn won

Season 1 rating:

6.5 out of 10. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, since Star Wars had been ruined by Kennedy. I watched the rebels cartoon in HS and enjoyed it that it was a continuation of sorts.

There were good parts, but awfully drawn out. Not all decisions were good ones, but overall it was pretty decent.

They really should have delved more into Baylan and by extension, Shin.

A whole episode could have been devoted to Thrawn's origins. Maybe they will do that in Season 2.
