Umm wtf was that? What a miserable finale that didn’t answer any questions
another series, eventually a movie

Baylan lives…I wonder how they plan on handling that. Aggravated that they just dropped that storyline for another season/movie, especially since the actor passed away.
Once again another character goes from no talent to displaying impressive force powers.

Yeah they botched this big time.

Man there’s so much story left to be told here.
Where Baylen was standing was a statue of the Father and the son, and looks like the daughter was destroyed/missing.
Looks like the father statue is pointing towards that mountain that appears to have a beam of light coming out of it.
The Father/son/daughter has no known origin. I think they are pretty much saying they came from Peridea, where the forces origin also lies.
I don’t know how they’ll handle Balyen with Ray Stevenson dying, but they should probably just recast him if he’s going to have this importance. Don’t change the story they were going to tell b/c he died.

But the owl was there with Ahsoka. She's definitely gonna take over as the daughter, somehow. Is Baylan the father?
I liked it but my biggest gripe was the shitty fight scene with the storm troopers. I didnt like the zombie troopers, but whatever. The real problem was the shitty fight coreograhpy. Does Rosario Dawson insist on doing her own fights? She looks slow af and she really cant handle the two sabers worth a shite.

So Ahsoka is never leaving this galaxy, right? Sabine will somehow

Her fight scenes when she loses her off-hand saber are better, and especially the one when she was against the night sister. That fight was a LOT better than the other fights.
I agree that it feels like Dawson just isn't comfortable with two sabers.
The owl represents the daughter, who gave her life to save Ahsoka. Some think that means that the two are bound but in a very ethereal way.
I like the call back to the Father, Son, and Daughter... and I honestly have no idea how they'll handle it now that the actor has passed away.

Not bad, but not a great finale. I assume they’re planning a season 2 with that many loose ends…..Shin, Baylon, Ahsoka and Sabine, witches arriving to Dathomir
The light saber choregraphy was pretty meh for everything but the Ahsoka vs Morgan fight.
And how does Sabine go from having never exhibited any significant force ability and struggling to force grab her light saber from 10’ away to suddenly being able to force throw Ezra onto the ship from a fairly considerable distance away 2 minutes later?

Disney era Star Wars is all about drip feeding anything of any real substance. Whereas previously Star Wars was basically at the whim of one guy now literally everything has to go committee.

Yes the owl was there, which was cool to see, as well as ghost Anakin, which both had to be pretty telling.
I don’t think Ahsoka is leaving that planet, at least not as living Ahsoka. I think it’s pretty obvious she will join Anakin as the Daughter.
I think Baylen is there to destroy Anakin or whatever he thinks is the origin of the force, not to join Anakin as the the son. At least that’s what he thinks he’s there for. Maybe he will become the son.

Would have been nice to hear somebody tell her to "use the force" in her head.

I liked it. 7/10. Just wish we had more Baylen and Shin than the last 30 seconds lol.

You definitely have to have watched Clone Wars to fully understand the later parts of this episode.

Better than the last two episodes. Not sure what the Anakin was about in the end.
Well Thrawn is back home and Ezra.
As a whole the series could have been better, but it was not Obiwan terrible.
I give it 3.25 stars out of 5

Yeah, was wondering that myself. Do they drop it? Recast? Do the deep fake thing like they've done with Luke and Tarkin?
Also, what do we think Thrawn's cargo was? Could it have been a bunch of old, dead Nightsisters he brought back to be resurrected? I wouldn't have guessed that until they mentioned that Thrawn awakened the 3 mothers.

Yeah I don’t mind Sabine starting to grow with some mid level stuff. I was a rebels nerd so I do believe there were some signs she was trainable in the force. But she just now was able to call her saber to her annnnnnd 20 seconds later she’s spidermaning Ezra 100 feet. Come on man.

Maybe it was the same way Luke went from never knowing a god damn thing about the force to spending an afternoon with obi-wan with the littlest of training to trusting the force to help him guide the proton torpedoes using only the force to blow up the Death Star.
Enjoy being miserable about a good show and Star Wars story.

Overall I enjoyed the finale. I just wish there were more because it feels like there is so much left to be told. Felt a bit rushed.
I really enjoyed the tie in of the Father/Son/Daughter.
Seeing Anakin in force ghost form was cool, too.

Yeah... at first I thought it was just a reveal that he wasn't just some kind of projection or vision for Ahsoka in those flashbacks, that he was actually a force ghost that has shown up to guide Ahoska (or even Sabine) but then I realized we've known he was a force ghost since ROTJ so I'm not sure what the reveal is either other than may be we can expect him to make appearances in future seasons/movies.

To anyone, what planet was Thrawn nearing at the end? I didn't catch it. Was it Moraband?
