Typical Thrawn scene:
Analyzes situation
Gives orders
Makes grimace facial expression
Walks away

Thrawn

End of 6 "Haha, I won. . .bought enough time"

Start of next episode "Send everything we got, buy me some time, they are here."

Thrawn in the books was calculating and highly intelligent.

This Thrawn is incompetent and brash.

Can they get Hayden to train Rosario in sword combat? She’s pretty arse, it looks really awkward for her.

Ezra reunion with Hera’s juicy arse was pretty lame, although I am glad they skipped him hiding on Thrawn’s ship as a trooper. We saw enough of that in Rebels.

Curious how Sabine is getting back, maybe that shrine Baylen was looking at has a way to WBTW or something or a portal? Obviously there’s no way for Hera to do a rescue and the whales only go there to die

Sucks Ray is dead. I liked it overall, even if it did end with some bad saber choreography from Rosario and Sabine

It's gotta be a stunt double. Shouldnt really be that hard with all the makeup and hair(?) that Ahsoka has. Rosario just aint got it. Maybe Sabine's actress can get good enough with practice. But Rosario is 44 years old. Unless she gets on TRT, she wont ever have the speed to make it look like she's an elite swordsman like the character should be. In some scenes she looks like a kid in a school play. Ahsoka should move like somebody from cirque de soleil.

Andor might be the best star wars series on Disney right now. IMO.

Liked Ahsoka, but it was 7-7.5/10 for me.

I liked Ahsoka, but just started a rewatch of Andor last night. Markedly different level of production.

Spoiler alert

The part at the end when Ezra gets off of the shuttle in full Stormtrooper armor was stupid. Any rational person would take the armor off to avoid the whole "we might need to blast this guy" situation. Yes, I know it's a fantasy universe with aliens and starships but at least make an effort to make the character behavior believable. The episode where Sabine finds Ezra was also stupid. Dude has been living with turtle creatures for 10 years When his friend shows up to rescue him he just nonchalantly leans against a post and delivers a calm cool guy one liner. Not realistic behavior at all.

Also I feel like they tried way too hard to make Sabine cool.

I saw it as a callback to how many times he pretended to be a trooper in Rebels. I believe it’s at least 3.

After rewatching Ep 8, you could have literally watched the last 10-15 minutes and understood everything that happened. It was still fun but they sacrifice some plot development for lightsaber battles

Maybe he had to throw his clothes out of the hangar to avoid them being found and the troopers realizing someone made it aboard during the trip. Could be the stormtrooper armor were the only clothes he would have had.

But there is zero reason to walk out of the shuttle with the helmet on.

I don’t mind the trooper outfit, but it would have been cool to see Ezra meet Jacen. Hopefully we get a bit of a time jump before their next appearances so Ahsoka and Ezra can train their apprentices.

The next show in the Mandoverse is Skeleton Crew created by Jon Watts (Disney Spiderman director). Cast includes Jude Law as a “force user”, Kerry Condon, and Steve Urkel. Internet said 2023 release but I don’t think that is the current plan.

really enjoyed the tie in of the Father/Son/Daughter.

Explain this. I watched the whole series, didn’t understand that at the end, and haven’t seen Rebels or Clone Wars. Felt like I was missing a lot.

If you can spare an hour, watch season 3 episodes 15-17 of clone wars. It will give you all the background and is one of the best arcs in clone wars.

Dave Filoni said to watch these to prepare:

Clone Wars S5 E20, S7 E9-12

Rebels S1 E15, S2 E18, S2 E21-22, S4 E13, S4 E15

The casting for this season has been *chef's kiss*... except for one role. Unfortunately the one role is the lead role. Rosario Dawson is a fine actress but she just doesn't have the energy that Ahsoka, even an older Ahsoka should have.

I'd be happy if they somehow "deaged" Ahsoka through the Force and brought back Arianna Greenblat (the actress who played young Ahsoka) to play the part. She has the energy for the role at least. I'd go 7 ish for the season. Set some things up, but the execution was a bit off and I just can't get into Rosario as Ahsoka.

I want to believe this so badly. It doesn't list him on IMDB, but I'm way into the idea. I assume you mean Urkel and not Jaleel White?
