Because talent scouts don't watch video.

the thread op lets everyone else feel better about themselves.
grammar.
demonstrates lack of perspective of the history of NBA.
demonstrates lack of understanding of aytons role.

Get that Ayton BS outta here..
Let the absolute shitty drafting that is my Philly Sixers soak up all the ignorant c@cksucker decision making that has been their lore going back sixty f@cking years sans some Pat Williams and Billy Cunningham magic.

Yeah, this is one of the worst threads I've seen recently.
I don't know what the OP wants. Ayton is 22 years old and hasn't even reached his physical peak. He's ALREADY balling out.

Ayton might look 42, but he doesn’t have the body of a 60 year old like Oden.

You all are missing the point. I never said ayton was bad I said he shouldn’t be a no.1 pick. Yes he’s playing really well. But he plays like a guy picked around 7-15. If your a top 3 drafted guy in the nba you should be averaging 25+ points a game from year 3 onward and if your a big man you should average a double double and be a perennial all star. He’s not a superstar yet and as a number 1 pick he should be.

So you literally just outed yourself as a casual NBA fan

You realize he’s averaged a double double every year of his career right?
At worst you can put him at #3 in his draft. Idk why you act like it’s a terrible pick. You’ve also changed your argument from your title

how good do you think 7-15 guys are in the NBA?
you legit have no idea what you're talking about

only 17 guys in the entire NBA scored 25.0 ppg+ (the last being Lebron at 25.0)
and Ayton could do that if he played on a shitty team. he averaged 18/game last year and was trending up but took a lesser role when cp3 came on board and they changed up their offense. he got a LOT better on D, too. if they need him to score and it's efficient, he will score

there were some questions about that but, at the time, it wasn't a terrible pick
Trae Young is still a very, very flawed player. there was no guarantee that his college play would project. he was terrible his first half of his rookie year, too.
Luka was seen as a possible generational talent but celebrated young Euros rarely live up to their projections in the NBA

The dude self-OWNED himself.
And promptly left the thread.

There’s a couple media guys that now act like the Suns we’re insane not to take Luka at the time and totally hindsight that shite. I remember that draft and I don’t remember a whole lot of “Luka should be the clear cut number 1 guy” talk during that predraft. He had his fans but no one really knows what they are looking at from Euro player tape and if it’ll translate

Bump.
DeAndre Ayton had 19 pts, 22 rebounds, 4 blocks, and hit all 3 of his FTs tonight.
He was a game best +/- of +8 and was the best player on the floor.
