She's 6'8, can barely dunk, and is one of the best women's players of all time. She would get absolutely crushed by a decent men's team.

I’m not doubting any of this. I’m am saying in this particular moment in time she would kick Carson’s arse both on the court and off

My dream is one day we can eliminate women’s sports and just have equal rights. One sport, one team.

I think it’s great for girls and women to have sports for all the same reasons it’s great for boys growing up. Subsidized professional sports are different, I mean amateur, school sponsored

His comments make the opposite point he’s trying to make.

Don't forget- the women also use a smaller ball in the WNBA...imagine how their game would be affected with a larger size ball!

There are women sports where the pro women are significantly better than the boys all district high school player. Like Tennis, golf, volleyball. Basketball is not one of those sports.

I’m not sure about WNBA but my college golf team beat our women’s basketball team in pickup when I was in school. They were D1 players.

These threads are always fun. A good 90% of them are filled with guys who swear they and the guys at the local ymca could beat a wnba team even though they're all unathletic, overweight, and just not good at basketball.

This is why women play with the men in the NBA and don't have their own league.............oh, wait

unathletic, overweight, bad basketball players are obviously not going to beat a WNBA team.

An elite high school team that is comprised of athletic, skilled, normal weight, good basketball players would. Which is what people are saying.

i don't think i could "Beat" a WNBA team, but i'm positive some of the OT pickup teams i played on/watched could

i am 100% positive i could have played major D1 women's ball, though

This, along with strength, are the biggest issues for them. They’re just not explosive.

An old roommate at LSU was on the team of guys that played against the LSU women, and this is back when they were going to the Final Four every year.

The guys were just rec level players and beat them basically every time

There was a dude on TexAgs that used to scrimmage our women’s team and beat the pants off of the NC team regularly.

It’s not a knock on anybody. People don’t think it be like it do, but it does.
